Why not attack Beckett and every other Paddy as well...Behan is an easy target, and lets debate on the fullness of the life of Shane MacGowan. If you've got a point to make, then feel free to make it, don't just make half-hearted gestures, because in the end, all you're doing is cutting yourself off at the knees, and for wanting to wotk in film that can be a problem...unless you want to make endless intellectual biopics on Toulouse Lautrec, or alternatively, invest in a Julian Cope type mic stand-tripod kinda thing. If you haven't got anything to say, don't embararrass yourself publicly by utterring unintelligible half-measures with little or no point, sometimes silence is a far more powerful and potent means of expression. Honestly, last posting regarding this particular thread - it's serving no purpose whatsoever. The previous response has highlighted a gaping chasm with regards to constructive discussion, and unfortunately has begun to resemble a platform for self-humiliation. I wont take any issue with the gross ineptitude with regards to coherent, relevant communication as I reckon it would be akin to slaughtering a seal pup stranded on floating ice, completely helplessly, oblivious to it's inevitable wipe-out.
But I'll answer your so eloquently worded queries:- isn't it becoming crystal clear, even though it wasn't originally intended, but - I'm fucking you Ryan, and where, IN YOUR HEAD!!! Its So Fuckin obvious!
