He's half of pop duo Everything But The Girl. Had a rare illness. You would never think it would be a good book, really, but as soon as I started it I continually find it hard to put down. I didn't seek this book out, my friend Paul just brought it round to my house one day to see if it would interest me. I said I'd give it a go, but reminded him my reading hours are pretty dedicated to school work these days. I won't even allow myself to read books about post-punk when school is in session (I still haven't finished the big Simon Reynolds post-punk book). I just don't read anything, really. But I started this one and like I said, it's hard to put down.
So I figure since you paxaciders are by and large a lot more literary lot than I am, I'd mention the fact that marky is actually reading (and enjoying) a book while school is in session. A rare occurence to be sure.
Next up on my list is John Lydon's autobiography, which I doubt I'll get to until summer. McC's is on the list, too, of course. But I don't even have that in my posession yet. Not that I have the Lydon book either. See how behind I am? It's all because I love music more than books. I wonder if God hates me for that. Oh well, Kate Bush will let me off the hook. I mean the Hook.

when are you getting out of school? seems like as long as you've been posting here you've been in school. i'd be going bonkers at this point.
i loved school then i was done and ready to get a job and be an adult. well, sort of. i guess i'm never done and my job lends itself to being a non-adult a lot, but anyway, are you about done or what? how's all that. you don't talk a lot about it really.
