I was working the desk and the matinence guy came by to pick up the fire extinguisher to refill it after the accident Saturday ... so yeah, as I'm getting it out some dumbass put it down there with the hose pointing down ... well, I didn't exactly notice that it was pouring the white chemically stuff out... right under my chair. I notice this ... ohh 45 minutes AFTER the fact.. and there's been a fan blowing on it since.
So then I notice that my fingers are burning and I'm feeling illish. So I turn the fan off and call someone to clean it up. He takes like thirty minutes to get there and THEN cleans it up using water. I definately think that it had some werid chemical reation and since I was lazy and wore a skirt to work, now my legs are burning. Even after showering..

this is just another random drunk post by the pixie. But I'm extra alcoholic tonight since I just drank the bottle of wine out of the bottle; since I didn't wanna dirty a glass.

McC. Did you know that the Brooklyn bridge is modelled on the one here in Cincinnati? Al Roker didn't when he was in town. He said the one here was copied off Brooklyn. Al Roker will die if he ever returns. Two unrelated people have told me that.

I did not know that. But I do know that the guy - guys who did Central Park and Prospect Park here did Volunteer Park in Seattle- way back in 18??. I thought that was pretty cool to travel that far back then to make a park. Can you walk over that Bridge?

You mean Olmstead. He was quite the man. He is one of the major characters in, "Devil in the White City." It is still on the best seller lists you should be able to get it at half price books round about now. It would be a great read on the way to China. (It is the true story of the worlds fair in Chicago) Olmstead did the landscaping.
