Yesterday playing doubles I got one right in the gonads! Now, I'm not saying this was on purpose. Like to get back at me or revenge or anything like that, but I think I heard a few snickers as I was doubled over on the court. I must have been a pretty easy target with my see-through shorts on. And maybe I shouldn’t have been taunting my own teammate, saying he serves like a little girl, or worse, Maverick. Then, maybe, just maybe, he won’t have taken his racket and repeatedly whacked me in the groin. Afterwards, being taken off the court in a stretcher, and laid out prone in the back of the ambulance, I asked one of the medics how my teammate could be so proficient with his racket, he wielded it like a club. They told me I was attacked by the goalie of the Coyotes. Damn that Sheryl Ann.

Who wants to play tennis in Seattle?

We've got this big Medicaid compliance review coming up at work and everyone is way stressed out. I'm going to try to take a short vacation in late April or some time in May. I might go a visit some friends in San Diego. If I can swing it, I'll meet you up there for some tennis. Just promise to go easy on your elder .... HA!

at the age of 34 I've yet to lose to Sloth or Mav. But they are getting much better and I fear my bragging rights may soon be over. Sports in Seattle is so fun, nothing like a little tennis in the rain.

A lot of Iraqi's must read Pax Acidus because yesterday on CNN they showed all these people cheering in the streets my victory over Maverick 6-1, 6-0, 6-1.

Tht was 6-1, 6-0. 6-4, Mr. Bullshit. By the way those Iraqis were celebrating your wounded groin. now you won't be trying to get naked with their wives.

Ha ha. Not exactly. I beat you that one day two years ago on those courts in the Central District.

If you are gonna be a braggadocio at least be acccurate.

Expect to lose many more sets this summer ya baby.

yesterday was great. 4 hours of sports with friends. But alas Mav and Sloth beat me and my partner in doubles. It was a good match and came down to a tie break. Before that both teams each had two match points they couldn't convert. (I wasn't serving when we had ours) It's weird, on CNN all the Iraqis stopped cheering and started looting. McCutcheon is obviously the Iraqi's favorite tennis player.

When I get out there one day and throughly thrash your youngster ass on the tennis court (i can say that ... i'm the old one!) .... you shall buy me all the booze I can consume. Of course, all of that Seattle gloomy weather may depress me and I'll play bad. It's sunny and in the 70s here today!

This is something I've been keeping under wraps but since I just played Tennis with the Mav man in NYC-- and no NOT at the US Open- might as well spill the beans...I've been trying to self-publish a book with not so much luck, so I might try to start my own publishing co. but since I no nothing about computers, money and life it might no work out too well. But if it does the first three publications will be

Sex Drugs and Rock-n-Roll Never Goes Out of Style-- a collection of my short stories

Burnt Roof of Mouth-- my first novel

Love is for Losers- all my collected writing (fact and fiction) on Tennis- including the piece I did with Hunter S. Thompson at the US Open last year.

All it takes is money- and if you want to give just disregard that bit I wrote about not knowing anything about computers, money or life.

oh yeah I beat Mav

7-5, 6-2, 6-1

It would have at least been 7-5, 6-4, 6-3 if I hadn't got that damn blister.
