Those of you who have been on the ale with me will probably recall that, when it comes to beer, the working rule is, "the bitterer the betterer." No one is more surprised than myself to find that I have been enjoying good old american suds. There is something about the humidity that lends itself to the very cold smooth beers. Also (and I remember this from my time in Indiana years ago) it is bad form to be in a round where everyone else is drinking two dollar beers and you are knocking back the imported stuff.

US beer of choice is Rolling Rock. That or PBR.
