Sick AND you lost the game

Post by Tom »

I was going to call you and rub your face in it...
but decided against it.

Sorry about your team.

The Jets start in a few minutes.
Watch it..it'll make you feel better.
If I'm making any sense, then I haven't made myself clear.

just watched BF give a long press conference. He is not in the best of shape. I know that he is the supreme competitor but things are looking shaky for the pack. He said himself that they are in a hole that they if it gets any worse they won't be able to dig out of.

Man, that's the kind of post you get with a crying kid on your lap at after 11pm.

I only watched the first quarter. I have seen a lot of the Cincinnati Bengals over the last 14 years. Last night was the first time I have seen them play in yellow and green.

Am I the only one troubled by the coverage before the game relating to the death of Brett Farve's brother in law. In the first instance, football is football, not a fucking human interest story. Secondly, after the tale was told so, "we" the millions of folks at home who never knew this guy could share in the "personal and private loss" (which had nothing to do with jacking up ratings) they mention how it must be a difficult time for his wife. Then they stick her up on the screen while she is sat in the stands. Er, is it me or shouldn't they leave her the fuck alone.

Claim: The outcome of Washington Redskins football games has correctly
predicted the winner of every U.S. presidential election since 1936.

Status: True.

Example: [Collected on the Internet, 2004]

FOOTBALL + ELECTION

Did you know....??

The Washington Redskins have proved to be a time-tested election
predictor. In the previous 15 elections, if the Washington Redskins have
lost their last home game prior to the election, the incumbent party has
lost the White House. When they have won, the incumbent has stayed in
power.

This election year, that deciding game takes place on Sunday, October 31
... vs. Green Bay.

Go Pack!!!
