Death Cab For Cutie

If you are into mellow music with a rock foundation you should listen to Death Cab For Cutie. They are a sort of emo seasoned Indie Rock band. Not the kind of emo like Dashboard Confessional where you cry over your last girlfriend, but the kind of emo that is a bit depressingly mellow. These guys sing about real life happenings not long lost girlfriends. They are my favorite band. Also a good artist is Bright Eyes if you like Death Cab. A totally different style from Death Cab, but if you like Death Cab you will probably like Bright Eyes.

Something about the singer's voice in Death Cab For Cutie I don't like. Other than that, they're not bad, though. I once saw Bright Eyes live. He's okay.

I am listening a lot to Travis (better than radiohead), Ween (my geekish indulgence), and the new Dandy Warhols disc (best rock band in America IMHO)

If you guys want any of them and can't afford them I can set up a dl for you.
