So did you like it, Mark? The album cover.
I know, Steven Van Zandt. I looked it up, and I remember him too, although politics isn't what I associated with him, it was do-rag. I knew that I liked Jackson Browne, so I was really motivated to find that song; little Steven just doesn't motivate me the same way -- at all. I shouldn't be so dumb, the song reminds me of things that I like about the hubby really -- the stuff about not being a republican or a democrat or a this or a that -- I liked the words; But it's hard to feel the same way about them coming from a guy in a kerchief, and the head wrap should be irrelevant, but it ruins it for me, I picture him and see the do-rag; then I start thinking that he looks ridiculous, and the song is just about over by the time I am really ready to start listening to it.
If you hear the original I am a Patriot let me know what you think.
Pig Fucker Steve Ballmer
Yes, I liked the Magritte style cover.
That's funny how you characterize Little Steven. Although it occurs to me now he wasn't first with that look, was he?
The singer of the Cult beat him to it 1985, "She Sells Sanctuary" video, right?
"doo rag"...ha ha...Yeah, it turns me off as well, but then I find Springsteen to be only marginally bearable in the first place, let alone some protoge of his.
Couldn't be as bad as my roomate playing Violent Femmes "Blister In The Sun" tonight, though. I really really can't stand Violent Femmes, I was in such blissful forgetfulness of them for so many years and then suddenly without warning...the agony!

if you want to know how much your neighbors donated to each party, check out this website:

Wow, now that's scary. Suppose some freako knows your address and doesn't like the candidate you sent money to?
Also scary is Nader, who is obviously smoking something worse than crack. Anyone who can explain this man's logic, please help:

The neighbor search -- is that for real? I understand understanding corporate contributions. But what is the purpose of knowing how much money joe schmo contributes? Am I misunderstanding the purpose of this thing?
The Violent Femmes -- they make me smile. I had never heard of the Violent Femmes until I went to Richmond to stay with one of my girlfriends who was a theatre major at VCU. It was probably ten years today, because her birthday is today, and mine is tomorrow. So during her first year at VCU, I went to see her for our birthday, and after her play, we went to a party, got loaded, and danced all night -- their songs were mixed in there somewhere. They are a part of a lot good memories.
High school hip -- No one was hip in my high school. The only music I remember kids talking about (in order of their importance in my high school): Charlie Daniels, Hank Williams, Jr., NWA, and Nirvana -- that was about it.

unfortunately the neighbor search is real. but if you dont want to be listed, dont donate than more than 200 dollars. Every donation over 200 dollars has to be reported.
But it does have some advantages. There are many businesses listed, say you want to hire a lawyer, but don't know which side of the fence they are on, well you could use this. Its all in how you decide to use it.
