This is just the begining of the build up, and away we go!!!!! England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland all play. Here is the first result.

Not so much a cheers as a smash your Guinness glass together as Republic claim incredible win with Jason McAteer's 68th minute winner earns the 10-man Ireland a sensational 1-0 win over Holland.

Only 171 days to World Cup kick off on May 31st!!!! France vs Senegal and Ireland vs Cameroon. The tension mounts.

The Afghan team, affectionately named The Afgie Alligators, didn't make it into the World Cup this year. But look for Marwan Mohammed al-Shehhi Zaid Zammar in the NHL finals.

Seriously, back to football, only Saudi Arabia (bin Laden's team) made in out of the Arab nations. They play their first match against Germany June 4th at Sapporo.
