Bicycling is the greatest recreation. Cyclists have large legs and lungs. From a bike is the best way to see the world.
Lance Armstrong will win 3 more Tours de France.

i would ride my bike more but i have a fast car and its hard to ride a bike and smoke a cigarette at the same time. that reminds me of some people who save up enough marlboro miles to get a bike. what the hell are they going to do with it? seems pointless to me

The great bike racing stars of the past, like 5 time TDF champion Eddie Merckx, believed tobacco smoke opened the lungs to more oxygen. I frequently smoke pot, while riding. And if you like LSD, you must trip on a bike.

Apr 19, 1943 Bicycle Day - Albert Hofmann intentionally takes (250 ug) LSD for the first time. This is the first intentional us of LSD.

The bicycle is the world's only benevolent machine. Second is a hemp thrasher, but we cannot use those.

Once again, agreed Jack. One thing beats being out in 65 degree weather on a breezy day while taking to the trails and back roads on a bike. That thing is the use of psychedelics. Although I prefer mushrooms to LSD.

Yeah and believe it or not, I am not making this up, but Hoffman rode his bike home after taking the LSD. And then he thought he was going to die, which is pretty much the same conclusion I came to the first time I took acid. Sooner rather than later in fact. On later trips, like Hoffman, I got into the vibe of it a little bit and enjoyed it.

And I love cycling. I swear if I get some money together I'm gonna move to the Alps and ski all winter and ride mountain bikes all summer and watch Lance win the tour. I have in fact seen four
Tour de Frances finish on the Champs-Elysees.

My favorite raver as a kid was the badger, Bernard Hinault. I liked him because he was an evil bastard. It was kind of like rooting for Dark Vader in Star Wars or rooting for America in the Vietman War but I did it until I met Greg Lemond in Harrisburg, PA of all places and bought him and a glass of red wine and we practiced our French on each other.

Vive Le Mond!

And I like Eddie Merckx too. That guy was one tough Belgian motherfucker.

The first time I took acid I thought I was dead. I also thought life was a dream and my subconscious created good and evil. That's when I smoked cigarettes. And during that primal trip I found them to be especially soothing because they let me feel alive; now I use my bike to feel that way.
