What the fuck?

I'm not sure anyone here is qualified to explain this to me but how is it that if the Vikings win, the Packers win, the Seahawks win, and the Cowboys lose, that the Packers don't make the playoffs???
Pack would finish 10-6 and so would the Seahawks and Cowboys. WE BEAT THE SEAHAWKS and neither us nor Seattle played Dallas. I just don't get it. But that is what the NFL says!

Yeah it is fucked. But you can trace it to the disaster of Turkey day when we lost to wimpy Detroit. Because now our inter conference record would be the lowest. Also the loss to Arizona, another NFC team didn't help. Oh yeah, and just for gripes sake we also lost to the Vikings at home, Philly at home on Monday night and to KC at home in overtime. All games we should have won. Lambeau is suppopsed to have magic powers. Something we might have lost in the playoff game last year to Michael Vick and the birds. It was the first time the Pack lost a playoff game at home ever. And I mean ever in the history of the NFL!

Yeah it seems that they have changed the rules and the tie-breakers come down to some confusing ass thing like "strength of record of the teams you have beaten." So Detroit really did kill us. It's still a bunch of fucking bull-shit. If we don't make the playoffs this year will be remembered for all the games we should have won...and I think this Packer team is better than the previous two that went 12-4!

That will be a weird turn of events if the Packers don't make the playoffs. They are only one win off of the Panthers in their record and the Panthers are definitely going. Wouldn't mind seeing them play each other. Of course, if Carolina lost to Green Bay, I would be in endless shame around here. Many more Packers fans abound.

Well, well, well. Could end up being Carolina vs. Greenbay in the NFC Championship game. Greenbay next plays Seattle and Carolina plays Dallas.
Greenbay is actually one of my favorite teams. But not against Carolina .... we'll see

2 4th down miracles, an onside kick recovered, a 30 yard pass interfernce? What the fuck? All the coverage in Seattle was that they would play in the land of 10,000 lakes. Now they are playing in the land of more than 10,000 lakes. Bring the cheese. It's just unbelievable. And it happened in the Evil Heat, 1/2 mile from where I used to live. And now it's Seattle against Packers. I'm still in shock. It sucks to be a Viking.

First of all, I would just like to say fuck the fucking packers. The reason they are a wild card and not having a week off is that they have blown hot and cold all season.(Like the hawks) If Seattle have a good day and green bay don't, then it will be a great day to be the Walrus.

I'd like to see the Packers make it far enough to face our young Panthers ... a babe in existence in the NFL in comparison to Green Bay. Of course, if Green Bay ended up whipping Carolina, then I was have to go into hibernation from humiliation. You are right about one thing, Tommy, GB has been hot & cold this season. Carolina has a new coach this season who has taken them pretty damned far his first time out but the team doesn't have the greatest track record with pulling off the big ones. Hell, several of their wins happened in the final minutes of the game often due to a pullout by kickeer, John Kasey. I hope they don't choke.

All day, when everything was going wrong for the Packers, I kept saying, "It's all a plan to keep Minnesota out of the playoffs completely." I'll admit I began to lose the faith too. Never have I seen such an insane turn of events in football and all in the Packers favor and at the expense of the Vikings! Sorry Seattle fans this is the team of destiny! You will get rolled over, what are you 1-7 on the road? You're the wild card team, not us!

What a playoff team needs is momentum going into the tournament. And with losses by the Rams to Detroit, and Dallas to Saints, Eagles finishing 1-1 with a loss at home and Seattle barley squeaking by San Francisco, I'd say the Packers have the most steam. They have outscored their last two opponents 72-10. I also like our chances playing the Eagles outside in the cold. Let's do it for Irwin. And yeah Jake, last Sunday was one of the top 5 best moments it Packers storied history.

Well, Carolina has sent Bill Parcells out of the Cowboys with a nice thump in the ass. We move on! Let's see what you guys' Packers do today. Very likely gonna move on too. Wonder if we'll meet later on??

Seattle up by 3 at the end of the first quarter over GB which ain't sayin' much. I doubt GB has hardly gotten warmed up. Carolina will now meet St. Louis next week with the winner of GB & Seattle meeting Philadelphia.
