Ya know, Rosie, I was in no way attacking you, or even making fun of you, but if you want to stay up on your pedestal and think you're better than everyone that's your problem, i was just saying i did't understand your bitterness,

Maybe, If Mc doesn't RESPECT YOU- (your word, not mine,) Its because you dont deserve his respect. I've only seen your name a couple times now, and it seems to me that everything that comes out of your mouth is rude and mean, and childish.
I wasnt trying to make this personal, and there you go lashing out. Man, i'd hate to see how you treat people in your everyday life, if you cant even take a joke from someone you dont even know, and i dont really want to HAVE SEX with him Rosie, I want to have sex with his words, with his thoughts, with his brain. Can you comprehend that or is that too big for you? Not that I need to validate myself to you.

No I haven't joined the peace corps Rosie. Maybe my sudden interest in the "lets all get along" theory is because i'm such an apathetic and bi-polar person that I think it's a waste of time to bitch and moan and argue.

This thread is turning into an episode from Jerry Springer. It's actually kind of sad. After finally meeting Sloth and Ingrid I'd hoped everyone else associated with Pax Acidus would be like them. When I first started reading this site a few years ago I thought it was a medium for exchanging views on literature, music and the arts. I also saw it as a place where like minded people could get to know each other and eventually get together and have a good time. Any of you read any good books lately? Seen any cool bands? Any plays? Written anything that will shake the foundations of our society? Whatever, I'm going to sit on a beach in Mexico and drink tequila.

I agree with you 100% Brett.

Especially right now, when the world is so crazy, and we might be off to war, why would we want to fight with one another, when the truth is, we probably have quite a bit in common, something brought us both here.

i think im gonna finally enter the twilight zone of this tread. i totally agree with brett on this one. with the monotony of work- its a great release to come here and relate with people that have the same views, hear of others lives and to know that we are not only ones who love to read, write poems AND ale. my life itself is a contradiction-i sell insurance- I SELL MOTHA' FUCKIN' insurance, work my 40hrs and am on salary. hate it. and after im done telling people they need to be responsible- i go down to the bar for a beer, go home and hit the hash pipe. so to keep myself sane at the workplace im come here. and to that i say THANKS PAXACIDUS!
now brett- i live in austin and have seen many many bands- most of them local BUT i did recently go to houston to see the rolling stones (yeah, before they fall over and die) and the book i just finished was fermata by nicolson baker (if you like kinky). anyone else?

I didn't know you were a woman Jack.

But as far as this topic goes, I would like to think I'm friends with both. (Rosie and Mc) Just because they are not on the greatest of terms, it is their deal, and I'm not going to interfere.

Can you be friends with someone you never met?

I think not!

But everybody on the bb of bb I have met so far seem pretty cool. I miss Mersault. I know he and McCutcheon had a falling out over stupid girl shit and some other unrelated shit. He hasn;t been around for a while. Is he still alive?

I was reminded of him in Vancouver while visiting Brett. Mersault and his wife and me and whomever I had with me Especially at Wreck beach where we had many high afternoons naked in the sun before going to get drunk and take drugs and chat with film majors.

And then there's Psyche. What happened to that crazy one?

Thank god for Brett! The most stable of the three and yet most likely to quit his job and become an rum drinking exotic male dancer.
