Ever heard Cash and Dylan doing a duet? They sing this song called Mountain Dew. Long before the soda.

Yeah, man ... I'd be interested in that. I feel out of the loop for not knowing JC was THAT versatile ..

Did not know he did a duet with Dylan as well ...

The Man Comes Around, the last album is a must have. On the vinyl there are two extra tracks. When I listen to it I wish every song ever recorded could be resung by Johnny Cash.

Recently I was drunk on this plane sitting next to a very pretty fit girl reading a health work out magazine. I told her that reading was bad for her eyes and that she sould talk to me. I asked what kind of music she likes. She said, "everything but country."

I said, country is cool. Ryan Adams, Hank Willams and of course Johnny Cash.

"Johnny Cash is still alive?" she said. Her favorite band was Slipnot.

And the album before Man Comes Around, Solitary Man, is the best song ever for Lovesickness. Yeah, it's the song written by Neil Diamond. I was book and record shopping with Martino (one of the best days of last year- actually the three days together was the highlight of my year, it was great meeting him even though I was moving to the Evil Heat and homeless) anyway Martino said, "Neil Diamond sucks." I know he didn't mean it. Ever hear Diamond live at that famous LA haunt The Troubadour? (The home of John Lennon's lost weekend that lasted two years) Neil makes a joke about invading Canada, 25 years ahead of South Park.

no prob, I'll do it for free. but I'm going to do my own compilation, if there are certain tunes you really want let me know what they are. I can fit 70 minutes onto a cd (sometimes they say they can fit 80 minutes and such shit but when I do that it never gets recorded all the way. I recently did Mark a CD and cut it down and took it down to the last second, trying to be clever, and half the CD didn't record.) email me your address at Pax Acidus.

I didn't know he'd done a duet with Dylan either.
