midwest is best

Post by Tommy Martyn »

I've just come back from a spell in southern michigan. I love this time of year there. The heat starts to die down and the bugs just start to die. Make no mistake, I will die facing the pacific ( if my new wife Pixie agrees to live there - don't old guys always marry the babysiter/nanny) but September belongs to the midwest. (Sconnie or Ohio or Missouri)

Previously, I have floated the idea of a Pax reunion here in Cincy but we also have a place on a lake in Michigan with lots of boats. Make your reservations now. (Unless you are queer and in love with something that looks like lots of buttons for getting your toast made just so. And believe sorry homos when they tell you they are called Tommy)

Seattle might not be bad ... I rather liked it when I worked for the Seattle ballet...

but Alas, mr. tommy... I must inform you, I may be legally attached rather soon. I have this sinking suspicion that I might do something dumb like elope with this silly boy I'm seeing - made even more likely if there is in fact a mini-pixie on the way.
Lie to me, it takes less time to drink you pretty.

Big decisions.

If you need someone to talk to about this, then give me a call. I think you have my number. You can easily get it from half the board here. If you are considering eloping, then I'm guessing your family don't know too much. I've just about finished getting shut of all my baby paraphinalia (check spelling?) but I do have some stuff and tons of clothes that I was going to box up for New Orleans.

Either way, I'm a bit of an old mother hen. I want to know how you are, and If I can help out then I want to do that as well.

We're hoping for no mini pixies ... lmao As much as I deny it, I know this means I will be the mother someday but not now... *hopefully*

Anyway, yeah we're too crazy little kandi kids. We're both afraid that we'll do something silly like elope... ecspecially if we go to LoveParade (big rave) in San Fran

Oh well.

Send the baby things to New Orleans. lol I just boxed up a huge amount of household things sitting around the apartment I never use for New Orleans.

Don't elope. It never works out. I have afriend who was married and divorced and his family never knew he was married. It became an embarrassment to him.
