Tommy we need to hang out. I always think of calling you up and going on the piss. I can spit halfway to your house. Ingrid loves you too.

For anyone who doesn't know... Tommy is even funnier in real life. I know it doesn't sound plausible but it's true. Image

Okay let's do it!

Keep in mind the main reason I didn't want to go to Bumbershoot this year was because it's too hard to get beer in there.

Does my better half count as a lad? I may be lame but I actually like to hang out with my wife.

Brett, this would have been a perfect time to come visit you in the Van... or for you to come down... since the wife and the bairn are away.

I was thinking that while Ingrid and myself were toasting ourselves on the beach by the lake today.

BTW... Lake Sammammish is awesome despite the name.

I think its the best lake beach in the whole Seattle area. It is a HUGE park... and then there is one tiny corner where it says "no drinking beyond this point". And beyond that point is a swamp.

If only more people thought like that!

I have a blessing from the pope to go to bumbershoot on Monday (I want to see Wilco and possibly REM) I am sure that I'll watch five minutes and run off to get pissed as usual. Also a bumbershoot ticket gets you into the EMP half price so I might take advantage of that. And for this week only, an origional copy of the dec of independence is in town at our very local museum of science and industry. I'll be there for that too.

Are the lads up for a beer on Monday then?

I just watched a Man Apart. I'm going to join the DEA and snuff some Columbians. And Woody.

Well, that won't matter Brett, he's made most of his best films already anyway hasn't he? But as long as we're talking about getting away with being a pedophile...maybe someone should ask the Catholic church...I think there's a lot of pedophiles there that have yet to suffer at all for their crimes even if perhaps Woody hasn't suffered enough.

Hello to you, too Tommy. Glad to hear someone from the Pax Acidus crew is going the Bumbershoot route this year. Would love to join you guys for drinks this evening but as usual when people are ready to do these sorts of things, I have to work.

Lake Sammamish, Ooh...is that the one out in Issaquah? I just can't seem to get my parks straight.
