Everybody has feelings. Nobody likes to be made fun of in public.

Over the past few years many people on this board have traveled great distances to meet one another, fuck one another, or tried but failed to fuck one another, etc.

I have noticed a little reservation from even the most die hard of you from posting what you feel.

Please do this. I think everyone here loves one another. And you always hurt the ones you love.

This board is not now, was never, and hopefully never will be for normal social people. It's for artists, drug takers, and parents who drive drunk and pass out in the dog's bed.

Let's not let our hatred for another get in the way of our love for one another any more.

Nice entertainment, I'm gonna look through some more of it. Dug the Nick Cave piece, McC, and wow, a picture of Ian Curtis' grave? I'm glad Woody Allen is on the bus. I went through a big Woody Allen phase about 5 years ago. I don't think I got to see *all* of his films, but most of them anyway. Love and Death is the funniest film I've ever seen. I kept having to shut off the VCR because I was howling with tissue in hand, tears of laughter were streaming down my face and the jokes were coming too fast for me to even catch them all. That said, I really enjoyed some of his later more mature stuff...Husbands & Wives and Hannah & Her Sisters...these were killer films in my opinion.

Also I don't understand these people who go all moralistic when they speak of Woody Allen. There IS such a thing as separating the art from the artist. Mia Farrow is a beautiful woman. Anyone seen Rosemary's Baby? What a mindfuck. What was that director's name? Polanski, that's it. I saw that other film of his, started with an R...Repulsion? That was some weird shit as well.

When I was a kid I used to get Rosemary's Baby and Whatever Happened to Baby Jane? mixed up. I only knew them from a book about movies my dad had. Whatever Happened to Baby Jane? was great too and I'm not even that much of a fan of Bette Davis.

I think the point is we have to encourage people like Tommy... they are the ones behaving the most badly.

We need an Evil Tommy t-shirt that we can distribute to people over 40.

Does Tommy need therapy? I get the feeling he's going through a mid-life crisis. Which is totally fine and acceptable, but if he takes it out on other people...how much does that really help him?

That t-shirt over 40 thing was a reference to one of Tommy's posts. I think he makes fun of you because you are an Anglophile in America... whereas in England an Americanophile (you see there's not even a word for that one so I had to make it up) would get it bad too. I'm sure its nothing personal... its just bad behavior and when people moan and get defensive it takes all the evil humor out of it.
