living in Europe

Post by sean »

First i want to say i really like the site. I can relate to your writings and enjoy reading this website as much as I enjoy reading the books of my favorite authors. Im in high school now, about to graduate and go to college and i was lookin for some advise from some like-minded people. Im trying to keep my options open to living somewhere other than america someday, for obvious reasons. I don't have to many aspirations other than living a free life with plenty of good beer, good drugs, nice people and a place with a culture that respects things like good food and interesting architecture. I wouldnt mind being poor if i could live in that setting. What area in Europe is best for an American to live? Amsterdam seems like an obvious answer but is it really practical as far as finding a job goes? Im trying to decide on a language to learn while at college also......dutch, french, something else? Any advise is more than welcome

London is best if you are shy about learning a language.

France is the most romantic and beautiful.

Germany is best for beer halls.

Amsterdam is best for sex and drugs without ever even meeting anybody.

Spain is best for partying.

Italy is best for sunshine and posing.

Czech Republic is best on a budget.

Greece is best for beaches and ouzo.

Have fun... and don't forget to write.
