I must say I feel a most terrible overflowing of Paxacidus love. I shed a few tears on the way home. I had a good night tonight. Thanks to all that were there.
And I just want to say that as much as I am and have been against this war, I have breathed the most voluminous sigh of relief in the past week or so that the Brits are still with us in this endeavor. With my heart in the U.K., as it has always been, if the Brits had opposed us, as bad as "we" can be, it would have cleft my heart in two. I may have never recovered if that had happened. It would have torn me to shreds. I might have done something far more drastic than what might occur to me today.
In these times I can only thank for small mercies, and the fact that the Brits are with us in this is a very big mercy in my book. Praise be to any higher power that the Brits are with us. If not in overall populous conscience, then at least their leader and military. I simply cannot imagine what it would have been like for me otherwise.
