As was said before by I think Myke, I'm not even so sure the damn things were French to begin with. Can anyone confirm the origin of fried potato strips?
I had some great fries in Belgium once. They dip em in mayonaise over there. Sounds crazy but it worked really well.

Did I spell mayonaise right?
