Anyone here a Lenny Bruce fan? Or how about Eric Bogosian? Am i the only one here who finds this type of humor good?

Like Lenny Bruce... have heard a lot of stuff... very political... Eric Begosian is great too... need to get more of his stuff... but my comedic heart strings are better plucked by Bill Hicks. He probably owes a great debt to Lenny but strangely never mentions him at all in any of his skits or interviews... just how much he loved Johnny Carson and hated Jay Leno. Oh well.

Jay Leno is okay but next to Letterman? No way.

I'm not sure if Letterman is as funny as he used to be but he used to be pretty funny.

I know Bill Hicks is great, but it's been a fair number of years since I've seen him do his stuff, so I don't remember much about it now.

I remember Bill Hicks always saying he wanted to blow off Jay Leno's Dorito shilling head.

Ten year's later Jay is now shilling Tostito's.

I never remember Leno being funny except when he subbed for Carson. Letterman hasn't been funny since I was 12. The best talk show host is that Jon Stewart (?) guy on Comedy Central... whose name slips past me. That show was funny ten years ago and still is.

I must admit I don't watch anything except basketball and football and Animal Planet. I am normally drinking and taking bong hits in the basement and working or going out for a walk or playing Rocky or NBA 2K3 on PS2.

<<Laughing out loud>>

Why is it when the topic turns to heroin you suddenly get hilarious, Sloth? This is the second time this has happened. Hey...are you ripping someone's comedy routine off?

I admit I don't have cable. The reason is, I don't watch enough T.V. to care, but at times it does
strike me as strange that though my roomate does like to watch T.V. he has never had nor appeared to want cable for the house and this is odd to me. He's a T.V. watcher...so why doesn't he want cable? But I'm sure if I had cable I'd be spending some time with Comedy Central, since that's one of the few things I watched on T.V. last time I used to actually *watch* some T.V. in the early 90's.

No I am hilarious naturally i swear. I remember doing some research on heroin and apparently it was actually marketed by some as a cure for the common cold.

Another proof that truth is stranger than fiction.
