I can't say I agree that the media is lying to us, because I believe half the time the media doesn't even know what is true. They can be standing behind whatever they are saying 100% but it could be absolute bullshit. Take the middle east for example, do you think they ever get the straight report? If we think we have killed someone important the evidence is inconclusive, and is being sent to a lab for further testing. Then you never hear about it again. So I don't know if they are lying, they just might not have a clue about what they are saying. Solution = Canada news Image

i think the US government is lying to us. see I'm old, I can remember all the way back to the Gulf War. it was all about how we had to save Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. SA and US in bed together. now they want to pull out of the butt fuck. Saudi Arabia, a key U.S. regional ally and the home of O.B.L somebody, said on Sunday it would not allow the United States to use its facilities for any attack against neighboring Iraq even if a strike was sanctioned by the United Nations. "We will abide by the decision of the United Nations Security Council and we will cooperate with the Security Council. But as to entering the conflict or using facilities... that is something else," Foreign Minister Saud al-Faisal told CNN. Not one country in the Arab world wants US to attack Iraq, the country we are told everyone hates and is the middle of some wheel of evil.

Last night I had a very vivid dream. George W was crying his eyes out, just blubbering away. He wasn’t crying for the American people who almost elected him. He was crying for himself.

It is a coward who can go to war knowing that he will be the most protected man on the planet and probably the last to die a violent death. It takes a ‘hero’ and man with strong conviction to realize how many people die in a war and to avert that war at all costs when there is no real threat to the US. George W has to look at the whole world. That is his lot in life because he has the blood of innocents on his hands. That is the position you are put in when you play God’s nazi dictator. Now I’m not a God fearing man, but George says he is. Don’t you think when he gets to his pearly gates of heaven he will have to answer for the murders he has caused? Any and all US military personnel are in the same position. ‘Kill them all, let God sort them out Hoo-Ha!’ is the battle cry of the Marines. God will sort you out as well. Obviously they haven’t seen enough John Huges films.

It can all be found in The Breakfast Club. Claire the princess is France, Brian the brain is China, Andy the athlete is Russia, Allison the basket case is Great Britain, Bender the criminal is Iraq and Vernon the teacher is USA. Oh yeah, and the cool janitor Carl is Amsterdam.

Soldiers always come back from War fucked for the rest of their lives. If they do survive they return to their marriages, families and future ruined. People are not supposed to be around all that bloodshed. It’s enough that people die for health reasons, accidents and stupidity. We don’t need battlefields, smart bombs and machine guns to make it any worse.

Funny you should say that. Some months ago I actually wrote to the president with that same logic. I didn't blab on and on I merely asked as politely and calmly as I could "I ask you, do you think Jesus would go to war with Iraq at this time? I don't think so." Obviously he's not getting it.

Cheers for the Breakfast Club reference. No matter how many times I see that movie it always makes me feel like crying at the end. There are lots of good movies out there, but that one was pretty monumental I think, at least in my life.

A Kuwaiti traffic policeman shot and seriously wounded two U.S. Army soldiers Thursday on a highway south of here, the Kuwaiti government said. The incident was the latest in a string of attacks on American troops as the United States prepares for a possible war in Iraq. A statement by the Kuwaiti Interior Ministry said the policeman, who was identified only as a junior officer in the highway patrol, fled to Saudi Arabia after the shooting. "Kuwaiti and Saudi security sources are coordinating for his arrest and extradition," the statement said.

Who are our allies? Why did we have Desert Storm?

Every morning I go running down by this fake river they built in the Evil Heat (there are no natural standing bodies of water in the desert) and yesterday the ROTC ran by me. They were outfitted in Army shirts and shorts. The guys leading the pack were pretty fit, but they had some stragglers at the back who were skinny little runts who could barely keep pace. I yelled my encouragement, “Hurry up in the back ya gotta go die for your country!”

I think not so much deception on the medias part however ignorant and uniformed is more like it. Try looking to Robert Fisk for some truth.
