McCutcheon, you've left no instructions on where to direct people for your going away party.
Isabel and Maria want to come, but I don't know where to send them.
Possibly a flyer or a run-by would be in order.
If not that, keep me posted so I can further direct them. 24 hours is good notice.

Hey I am getting married October 1st.
While the wedding will be private, an evening party will ensue. if anybody is in London let me know and I will forward the details.

Wow Slothie! Marriage is definitely a departure in it's own right. Good luck and all that stuff. This girl must be something else to take you down the aisle. Congrats!

this is martino!
all i can say is: seattle is great! the city is here , it is opening its arms to me, and i am feeling fine.
no!, this is not all i can say, since i have a lot more to say. aybody listening?
i spoke with h. and rosie today. both were strangely attractive, if far away, but i am looking forward to seeing both in a special way. rosie is in new yoik and will be back at end of week and we are invited to h. for veggie burgers tomorrow. very pleasant. sehr vielversprechend.
i was in eugene, an enclave of hippies and religious people and my auntie i. whom i love very much. and now i am with mc cutcheon and maverick, two very special people. we were cooking - mc made fantastic pasta con pesce and i made the salad sauce and we ate and drank and kristie was sweet and m averick did the dishes and mc spoke and the cat showed its displeasure. it rained and i was happy.
and we went drinking, to kinkoraras, to a place where the bar lady wore a ramonoes t shirt and mixed something which twisted my mind. mc's friend brett was here and his gf stacey and i had to remind myself of my marriage vows. the best drinks, the best music and the best companionship.
so where is pax acidus? this is a question i ask. it cannot get better than it is, we are in mc s office, drinking and mc is mixing and the nite is long from over. i am happy. no more to be said, my friends. until tomorrow.

this is still martino.
i forget the most important thing, god dammit!!! what is is with larry"s wedding? has the motherfucker forgotten his best friend? why, why is his friend mc not invited? dammit, if it was me i"d make him my best fucken man, for fuck"s sake.
sloth, come to your senses, for the love of all that is important to you have him come over he will make your little private party a big private little bash you will never forget. and if you don"t it will be a little private sad party that will haunt you, for chrissakes. i know about these things, believe me.

goddamn it, dont leave me out! I'm drunk as hell, hanging out with McCutcheon and Martino, and not sure what is going on. We're playing music, Mc's Djing, I dj'ed too, which is quuite scary(lots 0f U2, and random other selectionjs...a few bars were in our recent past, and a good dinner at Christie's before that... This is what it's all about, music, friends, and inebriation...We'll miss McCutcheon when he goes to Tempe, but at least he's leaving good memories behind him, and returining someday...forgive me my drunken ramblings...hope everyone has someting to write about...

Hey... I have a flat in central London for a year and the mc doesn't even visit me... the boy who claims when he is drunk to be English?
I live 20 minutes walk from the Soho. 10 minute walk from Old Street. 2 minute walk from Turnills, 10 minute walk to Fabric, the premier London club where the e's you buy are shrink wrapped and cost 5 quid a piece.
And then I invite everyone in the world who wants to come to the wedding...
and McCutcheon somehow thinks he isn't invited?
Of course he is... I just didn't think he would come. No personal invitiations here just global ones.
My Masters thesis is due the 30th of September. I am getting married the 1st of October... and we are off to Paris and Sweden and then Seattle on the 2nd.. not a big window of opportunity at this juncture to entertain mc. And it just isn't good sense to bring your best mate along with you on a honeymoon to meet the inlaws.
Again, the wedding is no big deal. It's like taking a crap or fucking or having kids or dying... just part of life. I love Linda but half the reason I am getting married is so I can get permanent residence in Europe. Otherwise... I would more than happy to remain boyfriend / girlfriend... In short... it's no big deal.. its just a party... like so many others that mc has missed here... so what's one more?
See you in Tempe mc... I hope you figure out where it is so you can tell me and then I will come there and if they have beer or fermented cactus juice or whatever we can have a good time like always I'm sure.
Since we aren't going top be living near one another I've started an remake of Pax Acidus. I can't believe we haven't touched the site in a whole year. It still looks good but it will be better... not as cluttered.
And there is no 'best man' crap in England. Only witnesses. And I got my witness. An Oxford graduate suicidal English pill supplier friend. So there. A perfect stand in for McCutcheon, who is obviously my real best man in any space time dimension.

so it is quarter to seven here in pleasant seattle. i passed out and then slept two hours in the eworks office, and then woke up cold and too tired and too chilly to sleep on.
matt is every bit as impressive in real life as he is in print and maverick is even more so. everyone here is kind and hospitable and matt has taken it upon himself to be a superfine host, which he is indeed. he paid for groceries last nite despite my protests and for drinks too and i think anyone who complains about his being cheap is full of horse shit. we tried to talk business while mav dj'd, which normally would have been terrific but i was too drunk, so we just pulled mav's leg with an a capella versions of sting: if you want somebody, set them free, yeah yeah....
so now i am cold and sobering and happy because i am here even though it is cold and uncomfortable and not particularlarly clean. ooh, i understand your feelings but i am sure it is good that you explained them because everyone was talking about why the hell you didn't make sure matt would be there for the ceremony. i don't know why but those lines from my favorite costello song ("hoover factory") come to mind, but they do:
it's not a matter of life and death but what is, what is
it doesn't matter if i take another breath -- who cares, who cares
