Drugs and Rock n Roll

Lately I have found myself being torn between two worlds. It is summer time, and summer time means I spend money. The one problem is, I eventually run out of money. This means I have to do serious prioritizing to ensure that my funds last. The problem that I have run into is between drugs and concerts. I am a huge music lover and concerts are high on my list. Drugs are of course, well drugs are drugs. But I also have my friends giving me their opinion on how I need to straighten up my priorities. They say fuck the concerts and but a fat sack with us! I say they don't appreciate music. I have truly tried to find a median between the two but it is very difficult. How shall I address this matter?

Do I have a trade. I in fact do, I am a thoroughly experienced host at a well known restaurant. This is the one thing that directs a small amount of cash my way. It just has not been sufficient lately, which created my current problem. If you have an idea that you think may help solve my problem, I am all ears.

Well Sam, I have to admit that is some of the best advice i have recieved, but it is not possible. I have explained my shortness of funds and would happily do both if it were possible. Thanks though Sammy B.

cut down on the quantity of concerts. go for quality and do drugs at the ones you do go to.

Id definitely buy the quality over quantity theory. Drugs are drugs, aye, and drugs will always be drugs. In fact, they only get better with time and improved methods of production. Concerts for me, have the potential to be better than the best drugs, or worse than church with the family (sober church of course). Id say just be choosy about which concerts you go to, but dont just choose drugs flat out over music. We all know that (depending on the band/show) the album never comes close to hearing good music live.

Drugs during the show is always a given

maybe you could like, ration yourself during these hard times...have a secret depository for the concert!

I have to say I would totally agree with mike's theory. The way I see things drugs will be around forever, and will mostly get stronger and better as time goes by. The thing about concerts is a lot of the performers that are worth seeing today are growing old and are barely making it through the aftermath of the good old drug abuse days. This has made me come to the conclusion that you should always choose the concerts, drugs will always be around (and will also be present at concerts, phew
