Sloth and McCutcheon-

I know you guys have some short stories stashed away somewhere. Put them up! It's been a while. School is done, oddly enough it's time to read. Even though McCutcheon loathes me, and Sloth, you're probably too busy smoking your hash cigarettes, i enjoy your guys short stories. Besides, Bozo is driving me away from your site.

New story up by Wednesday at the latest. The Rex Club is the Sex Club. I promise. Very long and quite good, or so I am told by the editor.

After that its back to work on Planet of the Ravers novella, as that is the one most people want to hear more of.

As for McCutcheon, I'm sure he's up to something...

about bozo: well, it wouldn't be the first time some renegade who mis-uses the anonymity of the internet destroyed a bulletin board.

hell, looking at his writing style, the guy is probably only 15 and never got any. but still he has the power to ruin. probably makes him feel good.

me, i will be staying away from this BB from now on, apart from occasional visits. this used to be a board that gave pleasure and stimulation but now, with bozo dominating it, it is just annoying. best wishes to all

How about, 'Burnt Roof'? Are you any further along on this, Mccutcheon? That's a cool story. The main characters mellow attitude reminds me of Sal Paradise. I look forward to checking it out.

I won't bore you with the details but its posted on a mirror of Pax Acidus on another server. It won't be active until the DNS switches. It might take a day or two.

Oh fuck it I will post it on this site just for you, Martino.

Hear ya go, hope you like it...

I'm turing the cruise shit into a short story. I only posted have of it all in a drunken stupor. As for Burnt I'm 3/4 done on the novel. The reason I don't write as many shorts anymore is because of the concentration I'm putting forth on Burnt. Thanks all for the interest. And now no more Bozo. So all is well. I love the Rex club. I met Laurent Garnier there with the Sloth one night.

the newest ooh story is formidable!

written with the slothish sneer i have learned to respect and enjoy, it took me away to that land of debauchery, jealousy, hate and friendship we all know from our past, or from our fantasy.

the first chapter was a slight bit too reminiscent for my taste, but the second chapter did what all really good writing does, namely to transcend the subject matter and tell us something important about life.

high hopes for the rest. thanks for the preview.

Brett,

There is more, yes, but nothing more to post for a while Image

Thanks for the compliment. I'm glad you liked it. It will eventually be a full length novel but these things takes time and without sponsorship it's unlikely to see the light of day until 2003. It took me two weeks to write that and 6 weeks to edit it.

I am gonna keep writing short pieces until the day I get a publisher to put up some money to turn one of them into a novel. I only need about 20,000 pounds per novel. I would buy a laptop and move to Prague.

My immediate plan is to finish a much shorter piece I'm working on now called 'Ding Dong the Dykes are Dead' and then start back on Planet of the Ravers. I think i can sell a novella of that one because that's what I get the most positive feedback on.

Basically I have to get a full time job in September unless I get published before that... and that truly scares me into working ever harder than ever...

ooh and mc-
You must understand that the demand for your short stories is quite high, due to their wonderful content. Everybody is crying for more, but we all understand that these works take time. So sit back, have a few drinks and write when you want.
