Does Pax Acidus support terrorism? I don't think so. I know I don't. Pax Acidus supports the liberal arts, home made movies made with little super 8 video cameras, girls' panties around the ankles, Van Gough, used bookstores, the novel as a form of reading material, Jennifer Connelly in Requiem For A Dream and not her best supporting actress role, summer nights, looking into the eyes of a lover, coffee from Planetary Espresso- the fuel of Pax Acidus, computers and computer people who help McCutcheon in laymen’s terms, football- both American and the rest of the world variety, and Sex, Drugs and Rock n Roll in all it’s forms and genres.

Pax Acidus supports travel and all the world’s travelers. We love to fly the friendly skies. Miss the lost art of The Mile High Club. Free drinks with Air France girls in the back of the plane. Ian Brown. Peter Buck (who is my neighbor). Pax Acidus loves freedom. Terrorism is the anti-freedom. Yet we get emails like this from Dave.

“You support this form of terrorism. Such as Noel Godin. You suck!”

Better a pie in your eye Dave than a plane up your ass. Like God, I forgive you your sins against Pax Acidus.

Today I got an email that said, "I think Jennifer Connelly is really pretty." I wrote back, "Jennifer Connelly is really pretty."

You mean Pax Acidus doesn't support terrrorism? I always thought they did. haha But i would be willing to bet that Dave guy is still reading everything on the site, soaking every word in. And the only reason he's doing this is cos its addictive, once you find something "bad" you can't get enough of it and you just want to keep on reading, watching or listening. Dave is just sitting there reading everything, probably even this, but he knows he cant reply to anything cos then we'll know I'm right. Funny how it works eh?

Yeah, plus, according to the latest anti-drug propaganda, if you do drugs, you're supporting terrorism. By that standard, I'm sure that there are quite a few terrorists here.

I would go so far as to say if you don't do drugs then you support America, which is by many nations opinion the biggest terrorist state of all.

My girlfriend's sister yelled at me for 5 minutes about how evil America is and I was forced to take it all in because she is so fucking unbelievably cute in the way that only the sister of your Swedish girlfriend can be.

Hot damn.

Hmmm, I don't know if I'd go that far. A terrorist state? Could you explain that?

Yes Daily I can explain that.

Put yourself in the place of an Afghani or a Central American, or a Canadian, or a Mexican.

Think of the terror America has caused you by dropping bombs and buying political influence and not to mention The War on Drugs. Think of how vague foreign policies and coverups terrorize militarily weaker foreign societies. Popular opinion around the world is that Bush is an asshole and America has a "I love myself" attitude and is rather naive about world politics. In fact the only reason Europe is banding together is out of fear of the peace loving USA.

I define a terrorist as someone who causes terror in innocent people.

Thus America has been on a crusade of terror in Central America, Cuba, Korea, China, The Middle East, NATO countries, The UN, and even in its own country against its own children.

America has no clear world vision except to stand back and let the large corporations take over the world. And if the large corporations don't get their way, then you might hear the sound of bombs dropping.

Remember that if people all just got along that'd be really bad for business.

Hope this helps.

I dont think i could agree that the united states is full of monopolizing corporations, druggies, and terrorists. All of these other countries brought our "crusade" upon themselves.

If you look at it this way alot of other countries are just the same way, they just dont have the same magnitude of problems just cos they dont have nearly as many people. I imagine Afghanistan has alot more terrorist problems than the united states.

I do not think that Microshaft is going to take over the world. Bill has never given any money to either party. Now that hes in deep shit with 9 states who want to break up microsoft. He is regretting not giving his money the politicians. Just because of this microsoft wont be in the greatest position after they are through with him.

Now didnt they pass that bill that limits donations to our friends in the white house?

If you really believe that then I feel sorry for you. Do you think that Osama Bin Laden destoyed the World Trade Center for no reason? Just to be a mean guy?

I seem to remember reading about Microsoft giving lots of money to politicians from both parties, but more recently have cozied up to the Republicans (probably because that party promised not to break them up which so far they have not).

Almost every large corporation gives money to the parties out of fear if they don't. They gotta cover their bases. And they can ask for favors in return if they donate enough.

And how can you deny that the Drug War in effect in America is not a fundamental a crime against liberty?

I just read today that the Supreme Court ruled it was okay to test school childred for drugs without any prior evidence. Basically they will test everybody. And they will throw the rest in jail. America has the highest incarceration rate in the world. Higher than Russia! Higher than China! Higher than Cuba! Higher than anywhere on the planet Earth.

If these practices are not stopped the next generation of Americans will grow up to be republican nazi zombies. The lies will be decades old and indistiguishable from the truth. No one gives a shit anymore that Richard Nixon was a crook. They think its okay as long as there's beer in the fridge. And then we wake up one day and its all gone. Like in prohibition when our so called freedom loving country outlawed alcohol.

I'll be an expatriate by choice until I die.

Daily,
I think change is possible, but in some places it is thwarted constantly. I lived in Mobile for a while. The schools there are segregated -- not on paper, but if you check out the yellow pages you'll find over two dozen private schools. Then go check the yearbooks for the public schools and you'll be very hard pressed to find a white face. I've had the most insulting racist remarks casually tossed at me with the assumption that I agree just because I'm white; it's disgusting. The year I was there the students at the local public schools' marching bands refused to march in the Mardi Gras parades because they were pulling funding for extracurricular activities. Did the rich fat citizens give a shit? No. They just imported some more kids from other towns. (And how do poor inner city kids anywhere usually get to go on to college? Their extracurricular involvements)
This is an analogy for America, and it is also a true story.
My hubby and I decided to get jobs to make changes -- you know what has happened to us -- we've changed. We've become tired and jaded and reached a point where we are like fuck the whole god damned thing.
People here get so tied up in petty little offenses; they are distractions to the real problems, and I don't know who saw and thought Wag the Dog was meritorious, but I think it made a good point -- give the people a distraction and they will be distracted. For instance in the county where I live now, people are up in arms because the local congressman would not vote for having the ten commandments posted on the school walls; well it passed without his vote, but it's not going to last because it's ridiculous, but people have been wasting good editorial space ranting about the whole stupid thing and it is so fucking petty. WHo gives a shit, and what difference in any one's life does it make. Should we focus on the fact that public awareness announcements are falsely representing our children's involvement in terrorism and giving them the guilt trip from hell, no! Just put those fucking ten commandments up on the wall and that solves it all.
It makes me want to do every stupid bad thing that is not bad at all just to say -- look, you morons, this is not the problem, the word fuck doesn't make a damn bit of difference, neither does smoking a joint, getting naked, or sucking a dick, and if it does hurt someone, the person it hurts is me, so let me decided about that. Your ridiculous squabbling and disgusting hatred is what is harmful to other people. I am not a hippie, but everyday their lifestyle becomes more appealing.
I'm going to DC and on my way home I'm stopping in Arlington -- I'm not going to the cemetary -- I'm going to a torpedo factory that was converted into an art gallery, because that's a good change. My parents took me when I was a little girl and I loved it; I've never been back, but now I need it. Need to be reminded that change, good change, can and does happen.
