Yeah the best defense the French could come up with was the Imgainary line (lol).

In truth I sympathize with them. After all, how many of us would choose death over collaboration?

Me, I'd like to think I would die for France but in reality I think I would have moved to Canada and grew pot with the prehistoric hippies.

Martino, were you responding to me? How did you get out of that post that I support a fascist government in any way? You're fucking nuts to misconstrue my words then. I wasn't praising fascism. I was merely replying to wenda when she asked about where human values have gone. Human values have been gone for some time now, and it pisses me off that you would be so presumptious to think I would support that shit. But maybe you weren't talking to me? If you were, quit trying to be so fucking philosophical about it and quit trying to read between my lines all the time.

And another thing, if you think that Desoto, Columbus, pizzaro, coronado and the likes were responsible for "civilization," maybe it's time you read some real history books.

i find your postings mostly quite amusing -- and i welcome you to this bulletin board.

however, pretty darn often i haven't the foggiest what you are trying to say. maybe i'm just a dumb bell, but perhaps you could try to make it clearer for the rest of us?

and what is it with your upper and Lower case Spelling? Do you have a pet Frog that jumps up and Down on your large CapS key? it's screwing up my eyesight, but of course if it is something important to you do continue, regardless

Oh Martino you aren't missing anything if you haven't been to the McDonald's playground. If you are in desperate mood you can go to Euro Disney. Is that place still in business? They are actually some U.S. tourists who come to that place and never spend time in Paris. I also used to sell wine to them- California wine! I was importing American wine to France. Ha ha! Now there is selling coal in Newcastle- snow to an Eskimo.

well, some societies, for example those that are strongly catholic, in particular the irish, feel that the insane are closer to god, and therefore treat the crazy like a kind of holy folk.

i for one am catholic in upbringing if not in belief and therefore will not raise a hand or speak a word in anger against this guy. even though his verbal flatulence and incontinent name-dropping is highly annoying. for sure, there will be no "bozo vs balsamico".

big mac: i hear that eurodisney is more successful than ever but i have never been there. i tried to take the daughter but she was suffering from an overdose of bad disney movies and refused to go. no skin off my nose, believe me, although i really am a roller-coaster junkie.
