No its not April Fools Day again, its the Headlines of CNN.

U.S. eyes Iraq invasion in 2003
April 27, 2002 Posted: 11:12 PM EDT (0312 GMT)

NEW YORK (Reuters) -- The Bush administration is plotting a potential major air campaign and ground invasion early next year to topple the Iraqi government of President Saddam Hussein, the New York Times reported in Sunday editions. The use of 70,000 to 250,000 troops is being considered, the Times said.

How does this make you feel knowing that the last time we were there we killed 150,000 people?

First off I don't understand why the Bush administration is advertising their terrorism. Speaking strategically, wouldn't it make more sense to take them by surprise? It's just a stupid pointless thought.

Secondly, 150,000 Iraqi soldiers died, not counting civilians. The civilian death toll was in that same ballpark. Did you know that the US economic sanctions denied energy and food to the citizens of Iraq during the bombing raids that were carried out? Keep in mind that the intensity of those raids were greater than WWII and Vietnam. So here the great Bush goes again, trying to finish what his daddy started. About 300,000 Iraqi's lost their lives in 1991 for absolutely nothing. I cringe at an attempt to predict the casualties next year.

On second thought, maybe the innocent people, fathers mothers kids grandparents brothers sisters cousins etc, will "benefit" from this advertising. I hope they have access to the same sources that you do Sloth so they can at least become wise to the apparent situation and attempt to get the hell out of their before Bush starts dropping the bombs. But where the fuck are they going to go?

Nonetheless I'm starting to get sick to my stomach worrying about this shit. Our bullheaded government will always remain a tyrant and a terrorist network, and death and violence will linger above everyone until the day they die.

i was all for the gulf war. saddam invaded kuwait, the west's strategic interests were at stake and called for a strong response. appeasement saves life in the short term only.

but this latest bush shit is totally crazy, just hare-brained mutherfucking idiocy. what did saddam do lately to provoke a mass invasion? was he on board one of the wtc jets? has iraq been bombing guantanamo bay or what?

saddam is a pimple on the earth's arse for sure but that is no reason to start a war. the US will lose the sympathy and the military support of S Arabia on this. the US has no support within the EU on this either, discounting bush's poodle tony blair.

the president of the united state's oil industry gw bush is all alone on this one. he is lb johnson without the social conscience, he is nixon without kissinger, he is a gunslingin' frat boy with a apolocalyptical arsenal.

i for one am not going to sit idle when this shit starts.

Its a clear case of...

"We've got to invade them and set up a God fearing Capitalist democracy before they create a nuclear bomb and hold the world hostage"

No offence but this has got to be Israel's idea.

Israel has to realize they are bringing this upon themselves.

I don't like Ariel Sharon but I am a big Netanyahu fan. He looks so fucking cool like an alien or something.
