We have loads of new fan mail.

A note to publishers: We use Pax Acidus as a vehicle to give our vision to the world. And people are catching on. We have a growing audience. Dear publishers, you might read our stories and see the faults, we are humble enough to realize our limitations- though let it be known we are working on our craft; working very fucking hard.

You might see these stories and think, hmmmm, they might have something, but can we sell it? Yes you can. It's all about money and if we get these kinds of feedback (and sexy pictures sent in by fans) -think of all the other people whom like our writing and don't bother to respond. What I'm trying to say, Dear publishers- is that we have a growing audience who is willing to buy our stuff. Invest in us and we will make you money. All we need is an editor and a break. Besides, we are prolific, look cute and are personable enough to give great interviews. So Dear publishers- please please please with sugar and a cherry on top, offer us a deal and we will make you money.

I'm too nice of a bloke to be famous only after I'm dead. Also think of what it will do for my reputation with the ladies. Working at Taco Bell doesn't really get me the women I desire.

P.S. I'm almost done with my third novel, have enough material for a couple of short story/poetry compilations, and I also DJ.

Trust we when I say we will give good interviews--I've been practicing in front of mirrors for years. I never had a soul to sellout and am willing to play the game. I'm not difficult. And as it is evident, I'm also not above begging.

I read your latest posts and then I read your fan mail and realized
that
you are doing something quite new and original. It is an artistic
endeavor that may or may not ever be critically or finacially
appreciated. That would be a loss, but . . . You guys are doing
something unique through the net. You are the characters people always
wanted to meet. Now they can. I know you want to get published. I
know
not making money from what you love to do is not idealistic. But you
are
doing something vastly important because of its originality. The
phrase
there's nothing new under the sun does not apply. You and Sloth and
your
friends are more real than characters in a Hemingway novel or Henry
Miller's mind, and you are characters to your readers. Prior to the
net,
no one could access an author, so his work was important. That's all
there was; he himself was irrelevant outside of his creation, but you
are
probably more important to your readers than your characters ever will
be. Does that make sense and not insult? If you can find a way to
market your internet experience or to put it into paper form; it will
sell -- but it would not be new and original -- because it would be
static. Your art is your life and your presentation of it, and it is
very very dynamic. It does not sell, but it is so much more than
selling.

I really hope that you guys continue to explore your medium. I think
your exploration is brilliant without meaning to be, which makes it
even
more so.

I got an email today from Douglas Rushkoff. You know, the guy who wrote The Ecstasy Club and The Gen X Reader and many others. I pleaded with him to come visit the site and write a letter to us so we could use it to help us get published by a legitimate house. I am on the piss and must get back in the thro... jusqu'a demain je vous souhaite la paix d'acide!!!

So yes, we did get an email from Douglas Rushkoff. It might mean so little to him but so much for us. Somehow this seems relevent during these times. Thanks Mr. Rushkoff.
