10 Years of Fucked Up Cyber Space Love

Post by mccutcheon »

In about two weeks Sloth, Martino and me are meeting up in Paris and we are going to FREEZE Pax Acidus forever. We are going to shut it down after a decade of decadence.

This means that all the posts will remain to visit and revisit, but there will be no more posting on this site. It will no longer be 'Live' so get in your goodbyes now.

YES Tom that means you!

I love you all. Always have and always will.

Goodbye.

I'd rather like to be Pizza the Hut from the Mel Brooks film.

Let's try to see each other before you leave....otherwise, can't wait to hang out when you get back.
If I'm making any sense, then I haven't made myself clear.

Really? We're shutting down? Ah well, it's just as well I guess. But I seriously hope Sarah posts before then, otherwise she'll just kindof disappear.

I'm going to visit Pixie in May.

We can stay open til the end of the year to tie up loose ends. But really this site is way past it's peak. Time for new adventures.

Well that goes without saying, mate. Sorry it didn't work out. There have been a number of times that I'd wished you guys would have just gone ahead and closed it down. I should have started a blog by now, I know, but well...laziness or something I dunno. Besides, if we had all started out with blogs, then we never would have interacted with each other in the way that this site made possible.

I still suspect Martino has something personal against me and it's hard not to read this as something you are doing now mainly to please him. But if that's the case, hell, no harm done. Far worse things have happened. I also regret that I am only beginning to see myself as the sort of person who has time and money to actually travel places and see the likes of Paxacidans. But I am taking it slow because I would like to also pay off my debts within the next year or two, which unlike many Americans is actually possible for me, so I should take advantage of it, I think. Not all of us are lucky enough to meet in Paris, etc.

Bless you all and goodbye.

and it's goodbye from me........I'll miss this place and the people on it. It is certainly something Sloth and McC can be proud of. What is the exact close down date?

shut down time will be after I write a long-worded essay that makes me cry about how this site connected people from around the world, and how we all sort of helped each other out and on many occasions- yes you Tommy- made me laugh out loud.

Hopefully Sloth and I can recreate a site that is mostly just a forum like this and we can all keep posting, and maybe bring in new members. But the site- Pax Acidus- only functions as a bb of bb now. who looks at the stories and all that. and even though we stared putting on mixes, now called pod casts, and we put up pictures, now called flicker and all that- first, yes we did it first- we didn't keep up with the technology. so time to move on.
