Jack Chieftan a father today

Post by bfj »

Hi all Pax crew. Just got a call from Jack Chieftan. His lady gave birth to a girl at 3:22 A.M. today after 19 hours of labor.

Congrats to Jack and his daughter, still awaiting a pax acidus nickname for her.

19 hours! Jesus! That's one more hour than my own mom with me!

Congrats Jack! Post pictures when you can!

Marky, when I saw a post of yours that began with "19 hours. Jesus!" I thought you were going on to say that it was one hour longer thatn Martin Hannet took to mix the drum track on "She's lost control."

Anyway, I've always liked people, congratulations and good luck with your new one.

Congratulations Jack. I didn't even know you were serious with someone / wanted a baby / and all that. But in any case having one of your own sure beats stealing someone else's.

Thank you all. I forgot to call you back again Jake, sorry mate.

Yep, it's true. The momma is fine considering our little girl was almost nine pounds, and she had to suffer through 21 hours of labor. We named her Emmeline Jean and she is a marvelous specimen, I must say.

I'll post pictures whenever I get them through my email. More later, I gotta go guide Emmy's mouth onto Momma's teet.

the philosophers of the ages have said you are happiest when you love strongest

no love being stronger than that of a parent to a child, you would have reasons to hope for wonderful feelings to come

looking back i can say that is true, and i hope it will be the same for you, jack.
