Did I ever mention I hate spambots? This one comes to your site, registers, checks its email, confirms the registration, and then posts about Barbie jeeps.

The even sadder fact is that this is the most exciting thing happening on the board.

Well if it's any consolation, I've noticed a marked increase in spambots on the other board, too. It's very annoying. It will drag up all these really interesting threads, but it won't have anything good to say at all about the music in question, just stupid ad gibberish, or worse.

The title of this thread sounds like Star Wars speak in the Cantina or something. Or maybe Jabba the Hut.

I restricted the sign up to the highest level. Now I have to personally approve all accounts. This is probably the reason no newbies are posting. The site is actually getting more traffic of late. I would like to think that stems from my working on it lately but I'm not sure that's really it.

We are ranked like 4 million in traffic. We were at one time in the top million. But we were also out of the race altogether for a while as well. Personally I would like to see us get back to 900,000. I actually complained once about being 900,000 I think. Those were the glory days of Pax Acidus.

Well... write more short stories, dammit! Both of you! I know that's what hooked me, way back when.
