Things I said on another board when I was pissed

Post by marky »

About putting Bush's penis in a gas tank. I really didn't say that did I? On another message board? Why? Because I was so mad about SUV's. As in ANGRY about SUV's. That's why. And I'm pissed. And Paxacidus is the only place that will tolerate me, now. I'm obviously too pissed now for the other board.

Goddamn the Republicans.

marky, i'll always tolerate you. you're very funny.

plus i'm preggers and very happy, just don't tell my baby to sit in a gas tank.

is someone on another board actually pro-suv in the times we're living in. that's a very head-in-the-sandish approach i think.

i actually used to have an suv that i did love -- then i went through what the hubby and i call "the change" -- it was major and ripped right through our marriage. but i was adament. we will not have an suv, we will not have a big truck, i don't care how many rednecks down here drive them, we won't. we fought a lot, but i mean i absolutely demanded some lifestyle changes -- it was like dropping the lifestyle bomb on him

we will support biodiesel, we will support solar, wind, and water power (except for hydroelectric dams because they displace wild life)

now i'm pregnant, and i'm like okay how do i do this. some folks, the science teacher that i work with, she's got a snazzy prius, says she thinks cloth diapers are actually worse for the environment than disposal because of all the chemicals and electricity used to clean them, but she said there are some eco-friendly disposal ones. i have to look into it before people start buying us all kinds of shit.

the hubby had to work damage control last night when shopping came up at a get together. our friends were like oh, you'll love the shopping, i looked at the hubby and cringed, i'm like you do not understand, shopping is usually very uncomfortable for me. this is very difficult to explain even to people who know me without coming off like a weirdo and a nose thumber, so the hubby just laughed it off and changed the subject.

luckily another girl i work with just had almost the same months of pregnancy as me last year and she's going to give me all of her clothes.

so gw and fossil fuels -- he did mention switchgrass, and there is a push for it here. also there is the corn subsidy stuff. so . . .

the hubby's alternative is his motorcycle. but i don't know how we're going to get a baby on that. nor do i know if i want a baby on that.

Hahahahahaha this really should be the title of a hit song.

I have to tell you I met this lady who wanted us to do our group study project in class on the best SUV on the market. I gave in because I didn't have any other ideas on what to do it on. But when I gave her this look when she said she was so excited to have bought an SUV recently, she said something like "oh well, I have kids" as though that made it justified for her to own one of these horrid vehicles. I didn't say anything nasty to her the whole time we did that project, and I regret it to this day. Since when does having kids entitle you to spew double or triple the amount of fumes into the air than passenger cars do? Since when does having kids entitle you to fuck up visibility for other drivers, making accidents more likely?

Well everyone on this board knows how I get about SUV's already so I'll quit now, but you get the point. That woman exists and these people are legion.
