Lie to me, it takes less time to drink you pretty.
Pixie! I feel like the universe is conspiring to make me think of you this evening for I've just come to the end of this one Style Council CD where they really go all out and get HOUSE music RAVE style man I'm serious, this was like 1989. And the cool part was I finally finished getting all that other crap off my computer at the same time I reached the end of this CD. It was the last Style Council album but their label refused to release it at the time. It is RAVE music, I swear, you know, house music the beat, the dancing and no it isn't the best thing in the world (actually most of it is just average) but then at the end it all goes crazy and Weller brings out this soul voice, really belts it out and I can't help but feel that Bobbie Gillespie would stand in slackjawed awe of a song like "Sure Is Sure".
Consider that the previous album Style Council did, a mere year before this one, had CLASSICAL influences all over it!
NAME ONE BAND THAT CAN GO FROM FUCKING CLASSICAL MUSIC TO FUCKING HOUSE MUSIC IN A TWO YEAR, TWO ALBUM PERIOD GO AHEAD< NAME ONE BAND THAT DOES THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Alright, already. What? You need my number? Shit, are you still awake? I need another drink, I think.
Jesus Christ I've got to shut up already about Style Council before I drive everyone on this board mad!
Oh no..actually Pixie it wasn't me that called at 2 pm or whatever I was at work, even with the time zone difference I was still at work.

Well I left a message for you. I have no way of knowing if it was on your cell that we have been talking all this time. I only have one number for you. Numb numbers.
It is only 1:30 here so hell, how late can it be there? couldn't be more than 4:30 am I know that. So maybe I'm not too late. But I would like to think you have my number by now anyway.
Regardless I know you will have a lot of fun at the rave, and I can't fucking help it if the last Style Council recorded works are rave music. I really can't help it. It's not my fault. And I will think of you any time I play that CD. The album was going to be called: Modernism, A New Decade. This was right when House music started to happen. '89-'91 was a renaissance in British music, that is for sure. But never mind. Don't get me started.
