It is one of those instances where I disappear behind the couch as Dr Jeckyl and pop us as Mr Hyde.

On the one hand you have the rule of law and due process and on the other you have stamping on their nuts and feeding them to a pack of rabid dogs. I'm torn on this.

I vote for the pack of dogs. I've been watching alot of Sopranos episodes lately, and the vigilante ethics and morality is oddly compelling.

There has only been one case I'm aware of of castration for a heinous crime of this relation. A man in, I believe Ohio or some midwestern state, opt'd even AFTER being sentenced to be surgically castrated in hopes to cure him of what he very sincerely understood as a problem he had no control over.

This case study has proven almost completely successful after (10-15?) years. Faint yernings have came and went since, but he maintains such a discision was the only solution...

America can't, and hasn't earnestly tried to put this option to work because it's considered "cruel and unusual". The current treatment does not work at all, which is chemical castration. The problems are so vast with this method that I suggest researching it (I'm not google OR Wikipedia).

But as a studying Psychologist I consider this the only solution combined with psychotherapy.
