As it says on the plate: Ohio The heart of it all. As I have pointed out to many folks. All roads lead to Ohio. You have to pass through it to change identities. To the north is Lake Erie and Canada. Cross the bridge from Cincinnati and you are in Kentucky and the south. Turn East and you are in Penn state and the east, Turn west and you are in Indy and the amber waves of grain. Ohio is both rural and industrial and sadly it is almost democrat. Give or take a polling scandal or two it might just be.
So, in response to the question about how you get to Ohio. If you're east of the Mississippi, then it's the start of the next place that is not like the one that you are in.
You'll be sleeping in her bed

Are you anywhere near Cleveland? I have to go to Cleveland for a few days for work sometime in early October. Any chance of getting together for a drink or 2?

well then, no round on me then. I didn't know anywhere was 5 hours away from anything else in Ohio. I don't know much about geography though.

Apparently so. In UK journalist Simon Reynolds' new book about Post-Punk entitled "Rip It Up & Start Again", Cleveland's music scene gets a fair amount of ink. I think that and NY are the only cities in the U.S. he mentions, but there's supposed to be an Americanized version of the book coming out, so that will probably change.
