George Galloway and Christopher Hitchens are having a head to head debate about the war, in New York on september 14. I honestly can't think of a more dramatic showdown. Varous faces on this site should be able to get there. Tickets are $14. You really should make the effort. If you only see one gig all year make it this one. I

Well,

I already know that Mrs Tommy is out of the country (England) for at least a week in September. (Dates unknown) She is also at a conference in Cambridge Mass for a few days in October. Seeing as there is already a hotel room paid for, I might go along on that junket. Also, the queers are in NYC for a tournament in October. I've been offered a game and if my groin injury continues to heal - then I'm up for it. She is also in New Jersey (Atlantic city) in October. Not sure of the dates yet.

I'm up in Michigan for half of next week and the week after. Can't see me getting planning permission for September 14th.
