how many people around the world have died from bomb attacks since 7/7?

July is the month of American fireworks and terrorist explosives.

Marky I agree you are not responsible for the terrorist bombings in London, or anywhere else for that matter. Me, I'm blaming Bush and Blair and two countries full of non-thinkers.

Stupid things Americans say

I was watching ITV and they were in NY I think. They were asking people if they'd go to London after the bombing. One guy was like "No, if I go to london I might as well be in the Middle East."

I'm off to london in a few days, via Guinness Land....

London after the attacks is unlike a James Bond cocktail... stirred but not shaken.

The Middle East is probably perfectly safe now as well. As long as you go to, ugh, Dubai or Istanbul.

New Yorkers know they will all be destroyed by Al Quaida one day. Bush hates New Yorkers anyway because they are smart and he is... Dubya.

The terrorists say destroying America is their ultimate goal. I say leave it alone its already mostly uninhabitable.

Sloth next Halloween I want you dress up in a priest's uniform, the kind with the white square on your neck. I really need to see you in one of those and do some drugs and watch you preach, this will be peachy keen. We will all meet up at the Bottle of Blue Nail Polish and it will be a blast, trust me.

I am on cloud nine because I just met this ultra cool self described "ex-Brit" guy who married an American and he lives just down the road from me!! It is totally wild, we met through the internet but he happened to live just down the road. I'd had this CD for sale on a national site and no one bought it for a long long time and then when someone finally buys it he lives just down the road! And we could talk about music all night, he has a great personality. I lent him my book about UK Punk/New Wave that he's taking with him to the beach this weekend. He has all kinds of memories about stuff in there, he's about 7 years older than me. We had a great time at a pub nearby our houses. That's right. I didn't even have to go all the way down to Capitol Hill!!

Life is good. That is until McC reminds me, as I'm sure he will in his don't-get-me-wrong-loveable way, that we are a nation at war. Yes, but can I do anything about it? That's what I want to know. Can I PERSONALLY DO anything about it?

Also I still say the new White Stripes rules, but never mind.

Also, after our meeting at the pub, me and that guy, I was catching the short bus ride home and all of a sudden it dawned on me that I was going to make it back over to the UK at least one more time before I die. I mean not because of him I don't mean that but it was like...one of those flashes you get...when you KNOW something is going to happen.

The whole thing was just extremely deep for me on several levels.

"One of the men accused of taking part in the failed terror attacks in London on 21 July has claimed the bomb plot was directly inspired by Britain's involvement in the Iraq war."

I hate to say again that Blair you're an asshole and Bush you're an asshole but you are both fucking lying motherfuckers who lie to your own people over and over again thus causing innocent blood to be shed both at home and abroad.

Stop fucking lying about Iraq! The only way to stop terrorism is to stop being one yourself.

How long till this fella gets the restraining order on Marky?

"Please take your venn diagrams away. I was only making that stuff up about bands. I need to sleep now."

This fella, it's not Paul is it? Ask him was he in the Bolshoi.

That's Paul Clark. He lives in Greenwood and he hosts the site electonicmusic.com Tell me it isn't.

I don't know if this belongs in quotes or not but Ken Livingston (mayor of London) said this:

"If the invasion of Iraq had been justified, it would be possible to argue that we must bear the sacrifices necessary to achieve a just outcome. However, it is evident that the war in Iraq was not justified. It has made the situation worse. The illusions with which it was launched are collapsing."

Well I don't know what to say Tommy. You are dead right his first name is Paul, he lives in Greenwood. Last name is not Clark, though, unless he's been lying to me all this time or changed his name. The weird thing though is that when I mentioned goth to him at the bar, I distinctly remember him nearly immediately asking me if I knew The Bolshoi, which I said I had, and remembered them with some fondness. He didn't say he'd been in the band, though. He has said he likes some techno, so I guess it's possible he could be involved in the electronicmusic site. What other inside info can you give me on this guy Tommy?

He's asked me to come round to his house tonight cause his wife won't be there. Make of that what you will. At least I will finally get to see his records/CD's.

Also that's a great quote, Sloth. Wish I had time to read the article right now.
