I just got a letter from the passport people saying I need to send in 3 photo copies of personal identification from 5 years ago. When I applied I sent in my birth certificate, old passport and a copy of my drivers liecense. Man, I hate this red tape. I don't get it. Who has stuff from 5 years ago? I lived in France for most of the 90's and I think this is causing the problem. And I haven't been back in the states for 5 years yet.
I hope they don't think I'm a terrorist. The reason I was in France for so long was because I'm a lover not a fighter.
