true mark. the pope is dead.

I liked the poem though and thought I'd share it with all of you for Tommy's birthday. It was sort of cute and funny, in my opinion.

Tommy about your birthday. It is the 17th, right? it is/ was my anniversary (I'm not sure what tense to put that in)

So Happy Birthday, Tony-Tommy
have a nice day and take it easy, like Sunday morning

Oh I wasn't trying to diss the poem, Sara. It's interesting and actually pertinent to some thoughts I've had of late. Indeed the whole pepsi/coke thing reminds me of my damn marketing class which I hate ha ha so maybe that's why I tended to tune it out.

okay.

there is no plain little smiley emoticon (although there might be one somewhere beyond view more emoticons). it's hard to express the plain little smiley sometimes.

plain little smiley -- round yellow head, two dots, and a singular line that curves up at both corners.

no diss.

damned marketing classes for mark.

Happy birthday for tommy.

the pope is dead for the rest of us.

So it's goodbye 40 and hello to 41. Tonight there is a party. Grandma and grandpa are taking the kids away and with the help and support of good people my ailing self will transport various beverages from glass containers to the Cincinnati sewage system.

I have to mow the lawn and clean the house and get some food ready and remember to look 40 and fab. I'm a busy guy today.

I got an ipod. Didn't want one, but apparently those who have them love them. I got the middle size one. I also got a seersucker suit. I've always wanted one but could never justify spending the money. It has long been an ambition of mine to wear one in my hometown. Finally that dream looks like it is coming true.

the new pope...

In keeping with me being awful: The new pope looks like a goblin. Really - he looks like the billiken (whichi s my school's mascot).
