I hate the holidays.

I bought a 18pack case of Budweiser (yes-I am Long Island white trash) on Friday and finished it by Saturday night.

I bought some DVD's (Every Mad Max movie, escape from new york, the punisher), I watched the Jets lose, I watched the beer vanish. I watched my life become even more pathetic.

I bought lots of new kitchen equipment...expensive knives, cutting boards, spices, gray salt from the French coast....I immerse myself in cooking...and eating...and drinking..and eating more. For the first time in my life I can pinch an inch. My six pack is fading because of all the 18pack $10.99 per case on sale at Waldbaum's.

Next think ya know I'll start watching Nascar.

and when you have a good collection of kitchen knives all you need is some friends over for good cooking.

McCutcheon is flying back to NYC on the 28th, late he said. I was gonna agree to come up on the 29th for the New Year but I just can't right now. I did, however, join a new gym so I can get rid of the inch that can be pinched.

They have one of those budget carriers (independence air) flying out of our nearby airport now so flights up to DC & NYC are quite cheap ... $150 to NYC thru JFK. So I'll likely come up within the next couple of months pending enough folks will have enough time off to do some things. I don't wanna wander around the city while everyone is working.

I fly home tomorrow. I can't wait to be back in NYC and get back on the wagon and hang with Tom and email flirt with Luna (something I can only do in Manhattan for some reason- it is her giggle I think and not the fact my email only works in that city) but right now I have a Kyle on the couch and it's time to make a new fire. Last night some people got a few inches pinched. Not me, I was very well behaved and was too busy cookin' all night long. Fondue was great! Fondue for all! Fondue for Tom and Luna! They could both use some melted cheese. You know how it is with the very beautiful people. You want to make sure they are human just like us.

yes mc, thanks for the hospitality. I'm learning slowly what happened to about four hours of my life that I'm missing. and i've got terrible bruises and my hip ain't feeling so well. Very sorry if i caused any trouble or made to much noise and that kyle... clever guy, hiding my shoe and trying to kiss my lady friend...
