on the bandwagon. what i read today on the ny scribbles is more lucid, consistent, descriptive and altogether more interesting than what you have written for a considerable stretch my friend.

a touch of gravitas does you good and i am now a little ashamed i was sceptical about the sobriety business. i think if you continue on, you will re-discover sides of yourself you had only a faint remembrance of having.

Your words mean a lot to me. I'm making a list off all the people who stopped drinking and drugs and got better. I'm trying to figure it out on my own. But the coolest cat on the planet is Andre 2000 from Outkast and he has always been sober and he is out there and the most talented person there is in my opinion. Plus he is a sexy motherfucker. 'Hey Ya!' all right!

You are currently rather insprining MC. It actually made me think of cleaning my act up - well .. but then ... as my particular form of self destruction is a little different I have successfully convinced myself it is not the same.
For all of five minutes though, I serioulsy considered it.

I don't go online too often these days except for at work. And then I'm too damned busy to do anything but work. Honestly, this was the first time I've checked out P.A. in a while and what I read made me miss you a lot, kiddo.

Can't remember if I posted this somewhere else before. You should read "The thirsty muse by (I think) Tom Dardis. It looks at the relationship between drinking and writing. It deals specifically with Hemmingway,Fitzgerald and Faulkner. You might like it. I read it a long time ago. It might be tough to get hold of now.
