Look I've got a lot of other things to say about things I've read posted on this site tonight but I confess I am far too tired and fucked up on top of it with my favourite French wine and my favourite NICK DRAKE SONG. I'm not ready yet.

And I wll have to tell the story someday of just how that Russian girl blew my mind today. As she has done in the past. THAT IS THE GIRL that I'm scared is gonna graduate and leave me behind.

Also, we are probably getting a screened in porch. There's nothing better than getting slowly pickled on warm summer nights.

I'm on Holiday for Sloth's visit and have my home/ work phone forwarded to this guy named Tim. Today Tim calls me and says some German man called and said something about me having a mustache and making a movie. He asks me, are you doing porno now? That must have been you that called. If not I have no idea. To get a hold of me call 917.337.1659. And thanks and sorry I didn't answer. I've tried to call you but can't figure it out. I'll try when I'm not so high. (On life and green tea) and passing Rebecca Romijn Stamos on the street. Even better I think it isn't Stamos anymore. She was walking with some bald guy.

so you have a fluffer now and his name is tim?

more power to you then. your answering machine somehow gave me bad vibes (poor excuse, i know) so all i did was stammer something preposterous.

next time you want to call -- you know how to use the phone, don't you? you just take your finger and touch the little nobs -- substitute the "plus" symbol with the prefix for international calls that is in use in your area. or just tell tim to dial for you.

Well actually I don't blame McC for being confused. I recall trying to make calls to the UK when I was younger and although it can be done, you might have to experiment a little first. McC there should be a list of international area codes in the front part of the phone book (white pages). I'm not sure if all the info is the same there as it is here but in my phone book it says Germany is 49 so that means Martino listed it in his number already. Now the question is whether you should dial a one before the number or not, like with domestic long distance. I don't know, I can't remember. If money's not a problem, you could always ask an operator if you can't figure it out.

Jake I don't recall any Kate Bush song mentioning either gold or California. Your post caused me to wonder what a country Kate Bush song would sound like, though, and I found that idea hilarious. So thanks for the chuckle.

I suppose we should all get back on topic about this gathering Tommy speaks of. I don't know what to say about it except that it sure sounds great and part of me thinks he must be kidding (kick the wife & kids out??). Also, getting "pickled" sounds a bit pornographic. How do we know you're not planning to get us all naked and film us?
