Up the ass
Since it seems I'm the only fuck head who posts anymore I'm putting it everywhere. It's not the truth and nothing but the truth. But it is my truth.
I'm watching the new Stepford Wives. This is a movie I personally worked on. I hate the Hollywood remake, but this thing is so far from the original they should have had the balls to call it something else. And I gotta say it is actually good. And the first half of the film is predominantly about Artistic Misfit Idealists, NYC, Television, The Septic Tank of America, Jews, Gays, and Love.
The second half of the film is all about how Americans are all robots and sheep asleep to the outside world, and that they don't know what is good for them, or how they kill and are detested, and how all Americans care about is image, money, status, wealth, money, and money.
No wonder it didn't do well in the theatre.
Think about it, this is a film that makes fun of gay Republicans. To para-frizzle-prahse they say a Gay Republican is like a gay guy purposely having a bad haircut. And I remember a time when Tom said he was gonna vote for W. I'm so glad that we have slept together and that I love him. Because only when you have had man meat inside of you banging away, and then after the boy is nice enough to cuddle, can you truly forgive him. I forgive you Tom and can't wait to slip my tongue deep into your mouth and anus. This Thanksgiving as we rejoice in genocide slaughter I will be residing Tom's drumstick all the way to the Bible belt.
America. Land that I love. Why do you hate people? Well, you have spoken and it is just too bad for you. You have a potty mouth and your shit stinks. I will not be giving you kisses or a ream job. Thanks for sodomizing it all up for the kids.

Why is this everywhere?
Hurt is such an awesome cover -- it really sums up well the feelings that everyone must have who is disappointed by the election results.
I went out to get a beer after I voted. It felt good. I called my brother to tell him I was celebrating a win -- it's the first election I've ever cared enough to vote in.
Things will get better -- they already have -- there were record numbers of voters this year. That's something.
The South and the problem with "liberals": Most of the liberals that I know, and this includes my brother who writes quite a bit of political things -- for lack of a better word -- speak as if they are trying to win a Nobel Prize, not as if they are trying to win an argument with people who do not give a rat's ass about "incumbents" or taking the time to look up the definition -- I've told my brother this before -- he hasn't changed his writing style -- rule number one of writing -- know your purpose, rule number two -- know your audience.
Some people are just too smart. My brother argues that he will not dumb-down his writing just because people can't understand him -- well, I say, okay, just don't expect to accomplish your purpose.
If "liberals" would take the time to read the analogy of the cave and understand it; they might just win the heart of the South.

I feel bad about that last post. I'm sure your bro is cool. I'm going back to Tour. Booze and JC will carry me on. What the else do you do after filming sky for five hours. And also I'm in a bit of trouble. I sorta fell in love with a girl who is way too smart for me. It sucks to spend so much time alone that you can only drink and write and can't fuck or fall in love but ya know what love is and then this girl comes into your heart and PANG!!!!!!!!!! I don't want the PANG!!!!!!!!! but the PANG!!!!!!!!! hit me anyway.

I dunno - I just dislike the idea of dumbed down writing. If America is so damned great, why should we have to dumb down writing? But then again, that's just one of my rants!
I liked the Stepford Wives - the remake anyway. *shrugs* But I like stuff like that; and I have a thing for Nicole Kidman afterall.

Stepford
Wow. I rented the Stepford Wives yesterday. Were we watching it at the same time??
I really did not like it. I get what you are saying-and I like the message of the film....but I thought it was terrible. It couldn't decide it was going to be camp or serious or ..who knows. It started out great-but turned into serious crap at the end. I felt like I was watching Scooby Doo there for a bit (unmasking the real villian-telling everyone about their crimes before they are going to kill them...etc.etc.)
Anyway-I'm not knocking the message and the sentiments behind the story-just the film itself. It fell apart.
And though I did express thoughts of voting for Bush-it surely never was an endorsement. I guess I was just so frustrated with Kerry. He too is a douchebag. Just not filled with as much douche.
Thanksgiving. I am going to stuff Matt on the table in front of all my relatives. Reel around the fountain. He'll take it slowly.

If I'm making any sense, then I haven't made myself clear.
