hmm I've just been informed that Friday there is to be a demonstration outside the campus of the university where the next debates will be held - we shall see if I go though. First, I'm not entirely sure what people are protesting.
Second though - I think it will come down to can I afford to be arrested right before midterms!

They are probably protesting the fascist world policies of George Bush and the Republicans.

Just a hunch ;)

Because he lied and people died and then he lied again and again and again. And then he told some more lies to cover his previous ones.

He lies like a hot schnauzer on a cold tile floor.

He lies like a persian rug.

He lies like Richard Nixon six feet underground.

I'm pretty sure it's protesting Bush - because otherwise why the hell would someone tell me about it (on a very conservative and republic campus you'd expect me to keep my liberal mouth shut but well...)
You never know though ... I'm not really one to protest Bush getting his ass kicked in a debate; since I haven't had time to watch them though...

Of course, maybe they're protesting the whole thing because it's a huge pain for people who live in the city or go to school at the university. Apparently air traffic over the city of St. Louis is closed throughout Bush's stay and all sort of other incoviences. *grumbles*

"Mr. President why did you take us to war in a place where they behead Americans when there was no connection to that country and our own 9/11?"

"Blah blah they are evil doers. An Axis of Evil. Bring it on."

"Sir, there has been war and hatred for many years is it possiable we didn't know what we were doing and you lied to the American people."

"We will stand firm and tough. It is hard work."

"Mr. President would you still be in this war if your wife or daughter was beheaded?"

"That will never happen. But it depends on how much money I could make from it."

"Thank you for your candor, sir."

in the first debate Bushy had a look of pure disgust on his face. if you watched it in split screen Bushy looked like he was having his time wasted because there was someone talking who was actually smart. Repbs were asked how Bushy could be different and they said he should take notes instead of scowl. And he is scribbling away but still looks like he wishes he could be doing a line and having a beer. And even if he was buying I wouldn't join him.

I'm trying to figure out which pile of shit stinks less. Bushy has an unusual red glow about him tonight.

I am a man, the same as you. I am the one who ruined his life, quit music, moved to suburbia, got a job, had kids and the rest we talked about on the phone when Slothers paid me a visit. Was just curious what you guys were discussing as far as this whole flim flam presidency thing goes.
