The Pixie's News

Post by TragicPixie »

Yay, I was invited to audition for the Seattle Ballet. So hurrah - Midwest Ballet decided I was too fat but Seattle is willing to give me a try.
Despite that I'm not actually going to audition, it makes me happy enough to know at least one company has an interest in me.

Sooo hurrah.

Pixie, why wouldn't you audition? We could hang out and get fatter together. Maybe create a new ballet called The Dance of the Pudgy Pixie and the Krispy Kreme Sloth.

It's all about getting - and keeping - fat.

Congrats Pixie! I knew a ballet dancer once who gave up on his dreams. Good to see you didn't!

Billy Elliot was very cool...quirky English cinema at it's best.

Pixie...I don't know much about Ballet, but I do know that there aren't any fat ballerinas, so if they invited you to audition, you can't be that fat...

Sloth, I think you have somethingthere with the new ballet idea...it could revolutionize the dance industry. How could you pass that up Pixie?

Oh, and by the way, congratulations on the invitation. I think you should do it too. Even if you don't get in, you'd have a good story. And if you do, we'd have a Paxacidus Ballet night at the opening of your first show.

Yeah like in Cheers when Diane takes all the guys to the ballet and when the lights go down the first sound you hear is Norm opening a can of beer. Psssht.

I may audition-either way though, my school is in Saint Louis and it's a good school. (Not to mention the amount of money I've just taken out in loans.) So, unless a miracle happens and SLU understands-I will not be dancing for Seattle; or at all because I don't fit Midwest's weight requirments
(and yup, I'm fat see http://www.angelfire.com/mo3/dollhouse/dollcogal.html )

So-how was ur set last night? Connect with anyone in the bar?

I might have mentioned this month sucks for me..I'm in the office by 6am every week...so it's pretty much weekends only for me right now.

I'm thinking about going in to do some record shopping...I'm on a quest to find ANY primal scream 12". Or Black Flag....

anyway-I'll call you if I do. Or in the least-I'll think about heading in at night...we could hit up the bar you go to.

oh-and I'm one of those people who can eat 20 krispy kreme's-walk half a block-and burn it all off.
Sometimes I wish I was fat. Just to know what it was like...
