Despite the popular conspiracy theory that an alien race of 12 foot tall Jewish lizards are secretly ruling the planet, things are still looking pretty crazy out there from my perspective.
Bill Clinton is releasing a 900 page book this week and to coincide with the release told an interviewer with Time Magazine that he believes Bush did the right thing by attacking Iraq even though he believes that he attacked them on the wrong day. He says he wanted to wait for Hans Blix to finish the inspections. Am I crazy or did I distinctly remember Blix cursing us for attacking because he didn't find shit over there?

Bill seems to know a hell of a lot more about seducing fat ugly interns than about international politics. Attack Iraq? Even in retrospect? What has that accomplished exactly up to this point?
With the recent UN coup that Bush pulled off the relection is looking like a close battle. I am very disturbed about this "Swing State" bullshit. Its like they are telling people they don't even have to vote in the non swing states. That will surely make them swing towards Bush. And after another 4 years of crappy republican rule the last few remaining liberal politicians may be swinging from branches.
When you figure that the nations only hope remains with Kerry, a guy who voted for the Iraq war and vows "to send more troops over there" if he is elected... its going to get worse before it gets better if it is going to get better at all, which looks very doubtful.
At this point in time I think the only hope of subduing the masses over there is to translate the tv miniseries Friends into Arabic. That kind of moronic humorless humanistic garbage is the only thing that can save us now.
I just heard the Saudi Al Quaidas executed that American hostage I heard about last week while I was snorkeling in the keys and drinking Rum Runners for breakfast. I hope he got paid well working for Exxon or whatever company he was working for that sent the poor bloke to Saudi in the middle of World War III. Me I may be poor but I got my standards of what I'll do for money.

well our latest be-headed worked for Lockheed-Martin. He worked on Apaches Choppers. He'd been there for ten years. However, when his wife went on Arabic TV to plead for his life she said he had never seen his 3 year old son. What kinda shit is that? Anyways be-headings are quickly vanishing under the radar of the public eye like "Survivor" winners do. Gimmee something new. Like shoot the hostages out of a canon or something. Fucking sick mess.
June 30th is coming up and Bush said, " I think it's resonable to question whether the Interim government will be able to keep Saddam Hussien in jail and prevent him from getting back into power." So Bush won't turn over Saddam because they won't be able to keep him in jail, this one man, but He's all happy go lucky to cut and run and drop the whole fucking country on this incompetent interim government.
They don't have any evidence to hold Saddam, that's the real problem. Sure he had the Kurds gassed but was he out there himself with a Craftsman sprayer? Whoops. That would be something if Saddam got back into power. Wow.

clinton is just trying to be presidential. he is saying: "under certain circumstances the war would have been right", which is a truism.
blix would have needed another 1-3 years to complete his inspections. iraq would have continued to be contained, and and at some point the inspections would have determined there are no WMD.
clinton is saying what most head of governments in Europe, except for blair and aznar, said last year: "show me evidence of WMD, or let the inspections continue".
of course, i would prefer if clinton had said something like "bush is an asshole", but that would have looked like sour grapes, and anyway hillary wants to be president. i say this without any cynicism.
