fiesta de la casa with u.s.e.

Post by mmenabi »

allergy season is upon us. the kids and cats at
la casa want to invite you to drink and dance in
our poorly ventilated basement and wait in the
inhumane line for the loo.

saturday, april 17th
9pm

mood music provided by:

united state of electronica (we love it! we love it!)
dj paco (revolver)
lady kerrinb (pop rocks)
ez-action (here, there, and everywhere)

$5 dollar all you can drink pbr (served by
seattle's cutest amateur bartenders.)

bring a pen and lots of paper for all those phone
numbers you'll be getting because everyone's hot
in la casa's basement.

don't lose your buddies, drink responsibly, stay
in school, stop, drop and roll.

oh, and give suzanne a spanking at midnight, when
she turns 29.

Hey mmenabi, sounds like fun. Unfortunately I work weekends now and long shifts at that. I remember Sloth saying he saw U.S.E. and that they were good. From what I've read I have no reason to doubt him. I'm sad I can't go. Anyway, have a good time. I enjoyed your last party. That guy showing old public service reels on a projector in the yard was priceless, and the pumpkins were carved with truly impressive artistic care. I remember the first song played was like New Order's "Ceremony" which struck me as interesting because I'd just played it like an hour before leaving my house for the party!

Just out of curiosity, have you heard the solo album from The Charlatans' Tim Burgess? I really like it.
