Haven't been on in a while. I've been kinda busy what little time I've had online working on my website. I think I have everything at least basically up and running. May have to tweak things along the way but at least it's up. I purchased this domain that ends in ".nu" for my site. Why that you ask yourselves (or don't give a damn)? Well ... it was available for one and I thought it was kinda different. .nu is actually the country code for this tiny little specific island state below New Zealand named Nieu (I think that's how it's spelled). It's pronounced like "new way". I only foundn this out thru my search for a website host. The company I decided on is out of California and had the .nu domain as an option so that's what I went with. They also have an inexpensive plan with unlimited bandwidth per month which is a big plus.
That's all quite boring though I admit.
Hey, you know what sux??? I got to be one of the first in my agency to test internet connections finally being on everyone's desktop pcs. I get all excited until I get online and find out virtually every site in the known internet is blocked. We can't even get on Google! It sux. We have about 5 sites we can access that are directly related to work and can send e-mail. We have home visits and stuff to do and can't even utilize a site like Mapquest to get directions. I'll admit I wanted to be able to post to this board and a few others when I had the time at work but I can't now. They suck. They coulda at least given us the chance to abuse the policy before they stuck us!
