i know i know, this should be in literature, but i think the subject matter makes it more about lovers.

TRANSPARENT
A stronger me No more pain
No shame in that
A harder shell to break
And you say
You're so alone but
you push everyone away
Tomorrow's victim
Today
tell me how it feels to be you
for i know
you so
love to hear yourself speak
You're poor old soul
It's tattered
it's growing mold
And you're the only one who
doesn't know
the real you.
Flowers die when they look in
your eyes
A wilting beauty not unlike
your own
So nothings changed
but its not the same
No rules to bind
no time
and it wears it tears it empties me out
barefoot lost souls-
they drink from your lips
a fine wine
resembling blood
Its sticky sweet
incomplete
and you're so transparent.

Wow tasha, that was quite a poem, in my opinion. The kind you re-read everyonce in a while and realize that you relate to it differently each time. Thanks for sharing it.

no problem maverick-

i like for other people to be able to read what i write and relate to it, it makes me feel less insane, if that makes any sence. Glad you enjoyed it!

the hair peice shivers? What a visual concept that could turn into! I personally think that "sane" is borring, and even ugly. If you always think like everyone else and do like everyone else you're not a person, you're a fuckin ROBOT. Glad to know there's more than just me out there. hey how about this, here's another one to ponder- thinking hmmmmm... what's on Tasha's mind today?....

untitled

Free form passion
No rules-
no obligation
it was an instant attraction
to pain,
Lust or Love?
Or the lack thereof
and the peace it brings within
As i feel your skin
on mine
And i care too much
Or not enough
To know it hurts inside
And im waiting for the downpour
it always comes
Then fades like years to a soul
it leaves me cold
It's my living force (to love you, of course)
THERE IS NO WAY!!
and yet i believe in
love
between the sheets.

Who says poetry is dead? Everyone really.

Let's make Pax Acidus bring back the art of poetry. There are lots of poets around these parts. Poetry is thick glasses, knobby knees, and cold snatch. But Pax Acidus poetry is sexy young girls quivering from a slight touch, boys dancing to the pounding beat, Walt Whitman, Oscar Wilde, and those are just the super happy gay ones, we also have Robert Burns and Dylan Thomas! Put that pen to paper, taste that fruit and get between the sheets.

Funny you should mention that. The other day I kept hearing lines of poetry dripping out of my brain. I was really sleep deprived. Anyway...the one I remember went like this:

There is no greater sunrise
dangling from windchimes
The beach has dried up
the earth caked.

What the hell that means or where my brain was going with it, I don't know.
