"Question of choice and sound preference"
Well I'm a poet because Martino said I was, so when it comes to poetry and the beauty of the French language I say 'un velo'
Today I wrote a few lines.
I see boys who look like rock stars
waiting at the bus stop, the pit stop blimp
that will take them to the coffee shop
where they burn beans
while dreaming of snorting lines
the music they will make will leave a more lasting impression then the bed head hair
cut Joan Jett Style, lank and greasy
oh looking so lovely
Queens of the eye sores wacked out of mind
holding out styrofoam cups to dingle the change
the evil wicked juice of love and self-hate
I miss Paris where I can be 'person'.
Of course I love French people and give them a chance more than most but I believe deep down in my soul that Paris is my city and it belongs to the world and not France and anyone can make it theirs. Paris is my favorite muse. The reason I write. Everyone asks what I will do if I ever make it in the writing game and I always answer the same without hesitation.
"Move to Paris and finish the second novel."- Mccutcheon
